Predictable Schedule:Maintain a structured schedule with full-time (40 hours/week) 10-hour day shifts (7:00 am
- 5:30 pm) and enjoy weekends and evenings off.
No on-call requirements! Supportive Work Environment:Work alongside a team of skilled professionals, including scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia technicians.
Advanced Technology:Leverage your familiarity with EPIC, the electronic medical records system used at the facility.
Key Responsibilities: Administer safe and effective anesthesia care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients (16+) undergoing a variety of surgical procedures in hospital operating rooms, endoscopy units, the cardiac lab, and the ambulatory surgery center.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists (supervised 1:4 ratio; 1:2 for cardiac), nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records within the EPIC electronic medical records system.
Participate in pre-operative assessments and patient education as needed.
Qualifications for Success: National Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA) is mandatory.
Valid and active New York State licensure (highly preferred) or willingness to obtain one is required.
COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
Experience providing anesthesia care in various surgical specialties, including experience in a Level II trauma center, is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and staff.
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial.
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential.
