Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to serve as an Engineering lead for a space mission payload critical to our nation to join our team in Dulles, VA. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
This role includes Engineering and project management through all phases of the program, from concept development and industry trade study preliminary and detailed design, payload integration & test, space vehicle integration and test and potentially on-orbit demonstration.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Your mission, should you choose to accept:
- Functioning as the primary payload interface for customers, program management, product line engineering leadership, mission assurance and subsystem engineering teams
- Providing Technical Support / Oversight including
- Conducting technical trades in coordination with the Mission and Space Vehicle SE teams
- Ownership of payload specs and requirements traceability
- Developing and managing Interface-Control Documents (ICD) between the prime and sub-contractor
- Playing a key role in major program milestone and readiness reviews
- Planning, design, and execution of testing strategies to ensure payload qualification, exercise payload functionality and measure performance
- Supporting the development of operational mission scenarios and payload concepts of operations
- Payload sub-contractor oversight, including cost and schedule performance including
- Review / Tech Eval of subcontractor proposals
- Cost account manager (CAM) for Payload WBSs using EVMS
- Recognizing and mitigating payload related issues and risks

Pyramid is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Software Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive pipeline growth for AIR-Quire and future Pyramid software products. This is a hunter role focused on proactive outreach, cold calling, lead generation, and securing qualified demos within federal civilian and DoD agencies as well as non-governmental entities.

Responsibilities

How will you make an impact?
We are seeking a highly skilled, technically proficient and detail-oriented Principal Mechanical Engineer with expertise in metal structures, frame design, pipes and fabrication to support the development of power and cooling infrastructure for data centers. This role is critical in designing robust mechanical systems that house and support electrical and thermal management equipment, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
What will you do?
- Experience designing and integrating hydronic systems including pumps, piping networks, valves, and heat exchangers for data center cooling applications.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pressure drop calculations, and pipe sizing for chilled water and glycol-based systems.
- Understanding of installation constraints, maintenance access, and serviceability in large-scale mechanical infrastructure.
- Design and develop mechanical frames, enclosures, and support structures for data center power and cooling products (UPS systems, battery racks, CRAC units, containment systems, LVS, MVS).
- Perform advanced structural analysis using FEA tools to validate mechanical integrity under static, dynamic, seismic, and thermal loads.
