Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent for a full-time, on-site role in Greenwich, CT as well as other towns in Connecticut. The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations, ensure projects are completed efficiently, and maintain high-quality standards. The responsibility includes supervising construction teams, coordinating schedules, enforcing safety regulations, managing budgets, and ensuring project timelines are met.

Qualifications

1. Experience in Construction Site Management and Construction Safety practices
2. 5+ Years Experience in a Superintendent role is required
3. Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment
4. Proficiency in interpreting construction blueprints and documents
5. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Procore, or related Project Management software
6. Strong Project Management and Budgeting skills
7. Exceptional Organization Skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
8. Excellent communication and leadership abilities
9. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
10. Self-starter with the ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively.

The Opportunity

• Oversee quality and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with hospital quality personnel to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.

• Establish and actively manage an inventory of resources available for patients to assist in transition post-ED/post-inpatient.  Ensure best practices are utilized regarding handoffs for all transitions.
• Monitor site financial performance and identify and create new areas for growth and revenue.
• Develop an expertise and understanding of the yearly budget, financial performance measures and monitoring systems, and billing and reimbursement issues / systems.
• Improve patient census and billing practice statistics to optimize reimbursement for the practice.
• Maintain awareness and interactions with payers such as significant IPAs, Medical Groups, Foundations, and ACOs associated with the hospital / health system.
• Coordinate efforts with key leaders in central operations.

Required Experiences and Competencies

• Licensed physician as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency through an accredited residency program required.
• Maintain membership and privileges on Hospital’s medical staff and comply with and abide by the bylaws, rules and regulations, and the policies and procedures of Hospital’s medical staff where services are being provided required.
• Physician Partnership status required.

The hospital maintains a structured supervision model designed to support quality anesthesia services for complex surgical cases. The CRNA will deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases including general, ENT, orthopedic, neurological spine, robotics, endoscopic, vascular, urology, OB/GYN, basic pediatric, and spinal procedures. The clinician will manage high acuity cases with complex medical conditions while working under supervision during day shifts Monday through Friday. Flexible scheduling includes 36 or 40-hour weekly options with preferred formats of 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts, and call coverage remains negotiable based on candidate availability. The position requires managing cases for patients who typically present with significant medical comorbidities rather than routine healthy surgical candidates.
