Electro-Mechanical Technician
The Electro-Mechanical Technician at Green Bay Packaging works in a fast-paced environment that oversees the installation and maintenance of our plant support systems and process machinery. This role will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment, as well as installing new equipment, performing regular services, performing maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will use all the tools at your disposal to ensure the reliability of the industrial equipment and any associated support equipment. This will involve corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance techniques, as well as operational and design feedback for maintaining and improving all systems atGreen Bay Packaging facilities.
What Youll Do
- Maintain and install all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Install new production support systems and process machinery
- Inspect and assess functionality of critical facility systems (HVAC, air compressors, and humidification systems)
- Communicate and schedule production impacts with the production team
- Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and work instructions
- Prepare and submit maintenance reports
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Maintain tool accountability and comply with GMP standards
- Assist with general facilities and grounds maintenance
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of professional experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, fluid, or control systems
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Associate degree in ElectroMechanical Technology
- 4+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical control systems (Building automation, machinery, production automation)
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Ability to record, report, and articulate the condition of equipment and recommended repairs or corrective actions
- Knowledge in the following areas: HVAC, electrical safety, pneumatic principles, tubing, pipe-fittings, rotating machinery (pumps, air compressors, etc.), machining, and welding
- PLC troubleshooting/programming capability
- Operational knowledge of multi-meters and operation of various hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of high-pressure gas, flammable gas, refrigeration gases, and recovery
- Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
- Physically able to work on your feet, lift, and navigate tight machine spaces
Work Schedule
- Regular: Working Either 2nd Shift (2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday) OR 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am) after training
- Training: Day shift (6am 2pm, MondayFriday) for up to 120 days
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required

Position Summary
The Senior Buyer (Strategic) will create a competitive advantage and minimize company risk through the strategic sourcing of goods and services. This role partners closely with business units and group functions to drive cost efficiencies, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure reliable procurement operations that support overall business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for assigned categories of spend, capturing savings through purchasing volume and negotiating TCO contracts with suppliers in support of company objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, EH&S, Sales, and Project Management to align procurement actions with project goals.
- Issues requests for quotes, analyzes and evaluates quotes, negotiates price and terms, and exercises independent judgment to select suppliers based on the lowest total cost of ownership.

- Perform market and supplier analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Manage supplier contracts, framework agreements, master agreements, pricing agreements, and compliance.
- Utilizes the company's purchasing system to process purchase orders from requisitions.
- Support all activities within the procurement function and regularly report on key procurement metrics.
- Manage the supply base across the categories. Leverage category spend across regions as appropriate.
- Drive continuous improvement in category management and supplier performance.
- Support cost-savings initiatives and inventory management.
- May require up to 30% travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-10 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems. SAP experience is a plus.
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supports the Test Engineer in the development and commission of test solutions executing the test qualification of the fixture and program as per the specific system qualification process.
· Responsibility for providing the deliverables to support the solution in production to both the Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations.
· Assists in the build and manufacture of testers, fixtures and environmental tooling as required to meet the customer expectations.
· The Technician Engineer provides the interface to the Test Support function providing comprehensive documentation and training for all test solutions implemented.
· Provides the interface to the Manufacturing function providing comprehensive documentation and coordinating training and education for all test operations implemented.
· Through working with the Test Support function monitor and contribute to the improvement of Test Yields, Efficiency, Intermittencies and Uptime providing accurate reporting and clear targets for improvement.
· In conjunction with the Test Engineer strives to consistently upgrade the test process balancing cost, coverage with the goal of providing an optimized and cost efficient test process.
· Works closely with manufacturing and test support to ensure prioritization of support activities. He/ She will be responsible for coordinating the timetable for test readiness based on the weekly production schedule through the appropriate Test Support staff.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

· Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
· Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
· Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

· Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
