A minimum of five years' experience in civil litigation is required. Our ideal candidate is well versed in the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure, and has experience in drafting pleadings, conducting depositions of individual defendants, corporate defendants and experts, preparing and responding to written discovery, motions practice, and jury trials. Civil jury trial experience is a requisite requirement of this position.

The Firm offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and generous commission structure with the opportunity to earn $200,000 to $350,000.

  • The successful attorney will handle personal injury litigation cases, from start of litigation through trial.
  • Drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, preparing and responding to written discovery, and motions practice.
  • Analyzing case records and analyzing legal issues on case.
  • Retaining experts, meeting with experts, and preparing expert disclosures.
  • Negotiating settlements.

Qualifications

  • Qualified applicants must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Colorado.
  • 5+ years of experience in personal injury civil litigation
  • Civil jury trial experience.
  • Well versed in Colorado Rules of Civil Procedures, with experience in civil discovery and motions practice.
  • Attention to detail and proven record of handling a civil case docket and deadline management.
