Position Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal and Compliance Operations Specialist to support legal case handling, regulatory response management, and internal operational oversight. This role blends legal drafting, structured review work, and cross-functional operational support.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable working across legal and operational functions, and capable of handling confidential matters with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Legal and Regulatory Support

• Handle legal complaints and case documentation
• Draft responses to Better Business Bureau complaints and other regulatory inquiries
• Review case files and assist in preparing structured written responses
• Support documentation related to dispute resolution and compliance matters

Customer Operations Integration

• Complete structured training similar to Customer Support team members
• Participate in job shadowing and review of prior cases to understand product operations
• Develop working knowledge of platform policies and internal workflows

Operational and Writing Support

• Assist with drafting or reviewing marketing materials, brochures, and client communications
• Ensure external communications align with regulatory positioning and brand standards

Financial and Administrative Oversight

• Collaborate with designated team members to review invoice accuracy
• Compare hours logged in spreadsheets with entries in the Deel platform
• Conduct this review on a recurring basis, approximately once per pay period

Confidentiality and Trust

• Handle sensitive case documentation and financial information with discretion
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding legal, operational, and financial matters

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or equivalent legal training preferred
• Strong written communication skills
• Experience drafting formal responses or regulatory communications
• High attention to detail and process discipline
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, growing organization

• Proactively lead the operations of housekeeping, front desk, food & beverage, sales, and engineering departments to maximize financial performance and guest satisfaction while upholding brand standards, reinforcing culture, and developing team members and future leadership

• Participate in the sales/revenue management efforts and processes at the hotel by daily interaction with Sales/Revenue Managers
• Coordinate capital improvement projects to maintain, upgrade quality standards, protect property image, and to protect the asset from neglect, damage, or deterioration
• Assist in creating and achieving realistic and attainable operational goals and profitability objectives

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• TIPS(Training for Intervention Procedures) certification required or must be obtained prior to employment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or Management or similar degree (preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5-7 years of experience in hospitality industry (required) 10+ years’ experience (preferred)
• Previous General Manager experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of sales process, client base, and general market knowledge
• Knowledge of revenue management and successfully forecast business on both short-term and long-term basis
• Basic to advanced knowledge of budget adherence and monthly financial analysis

The Role: What You’ll Do

• Drive Production Excellence: Manage the daily operations of multiple extrusion lines to meet (and exceed) production targets while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Optimize Technical Processes: Oversee material blending, die setups, and cooling parameters. You should be comfortable "talking shop" regarding polymer rheology and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Lead & Mentor: Foster a culture of accountability and professional growth across production supervisors, maintenance tech, and operators.
• Budget & P&L Ownership: Manage the plant’s bottom line, including labor costs, raw material waste (scrap reduction), and CAPEX projects.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: 7+ years in a manufacturing leadership role, specifically within polymer extrusion (profile, sheet, film, or tubing).
• Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of single/twin-screw extruders, downstream equipment, and resin behavior (PE, PP, PVC, etc.).
• Problem-Solving Skills: You don't just see a bottleneck; you find the root cause and fix it permanently.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Plastics) or a related technical field is preferred.
