We are seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking operations professional to lead daily plant operations for a premiere dry food ingredient manufacturer in the west suburbs of Chicago. As Production Superintendent, you will lead, train, and motivate supervisors and hourly employees to help shape a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate all daily production, distribution, warehousing, maintenance, and elevator operations.

Qualifications include:
- BS/BA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture, or Technical degree highly preferred.
- 7+ years Operations Leadership experience as an Operations Manager, Production Superintendent, or Shift Supervisor in food processing, grain or flour milling, dry food ingredient, animal feed, or pet food manufacturing.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desired.
- Prior Managerial or Supervisory experience is essential.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and “hands on” on work ethic on production floor.
- Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement experience is an asset but not a core requirement.
- Strong knowledge of governmental regulations such as OSHA, FDA, HACCP, and food safety agencies such as BRC and SQF.
- Business acumen is a plus – understanding financial statements; preparing and managing budgets, and maintaining cost controls, or having prior P&L responsibility.
- Tech savvy, with the ability assess operations, analyze data, and prepare summary reports to chart progress and for senior leadership review.

- Ensures announcements, safety topics, policies, procedures, and expectations are communicated to the staff and executed where appropriate
- Create and/or assists in the development and execution of plant budgets, goals, standards, EOS action items and career development plans
- Understand job standards and/or machine operation for each function
- Follow up on associate orientation, on-boarding, training, new hire performance reviews, and/or development as appropriate
- Ensures associates have appropriate tools to perform assigned duties and that tools/equipment are routinely inspected and maintained

- Set up, program, and operate CNC turning machines, including Haas Turn Mill and Mazak lathes.
- Program lathes using drawings and job travelers to produce designated parts.
- Operate the Star Clip machine and perform secondary operations such as deburring, grinding, drilling, and tapping.
- Inspect parts for quality, take measurements, detect production flaws, and adjust or reprogram controls.

We are seeking a highly skilled, technically proficient and detail-oriented Principal Mechanical Engineer with expertise in metal structures, frame design, pipes and fabrication to support the development of power and cooling infrastructure for data centers. This role is critical in designing robust mechanical systems that house and support electrical and thermal management equipment, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
What will you do?
- Experience designing and integrating hydronic systems including pumps, piping networks, valves, and heat exchangers for data center cooling applications.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pressure drop calculations, and pipe sizing for chilled water and glycol-based systems.
- Understanding of installation constraints, maintenance access, and serviceability in large-scale mechanical infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supports the Test Engineer in the development and commission of test solutions executing the test qualification of the fixture and program as per the specific system qualification process.
· Responsibility for providing the deliverables to support the solution in production to both the Test Support Function and Manufacturing Operations.
· Assists in the build and manufacture of testers, fixtures and environmental tooling as required to meet the customer expectations.
· The Technician Engineer provides the interface to the Test Support function providing comprehensive documentation and training for all test solutions implemented.
