THE OPPORTUNITY
This Engineer will be responsible for completing the Mechanical Engineering portion of projects in support of the Plant Capital Project execution. They will also provide daily Plant Technical support, enabling the Plant to meet its Safety, Market, Productivity, and Quality goals. They will assist management with pre-studies of deployment and development projects in the M.E. field. They will also complete design studies, follow procurement and fabrication of equipment and lead the installation, commissioning and startup of the equipment in an industrial plant environment. For customer projects, manages the design studies for industrial equipment installations that are necessary for the success of the Plant's capital projects. She / he will ensure adherence to the customer's specifications, local regulations, compliance of performance, and costs.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
* Conduct feasibility studies of functional specifications; evaluate solutions against the criteria of cost, landmarks, risks, and functionality.
* Adhere to the quality system and established methods (risk analyses, FMEA, design reviews, quality planning, treatment of non-Conformities, etc.).
* Acquire validation of projects during the installation, start-up and ramp-up of the equipment in collaboration with team members.
* Facilitate procurement, factory acceptance tests, and maintain "as built" folders for assigned material and equipment projects.
* Provide project support, especially during installation. Start-up and ramp up phases, are often "on-site" and "hands on", and several projects include implementation schedules during planning site downtime.
* Create budget estimates and bid packages on assigned projects.
* Provide project documentation: mechanical designs, technical offer, safety risk assessment, quality risk assessments, maintenance & operator training documents and user manuals.
* Lead mechanical contractors or maintenance installation teams during equipment modifications & machine installations through start-up and commissioning.
* Provide project support, especially during installation, start-up and ramp up phases, is often "on-site" and "hands on", and many projects include implementation schedules during holidays and shutdowns.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
* Strong leadership, communication, organizational, customer service skills, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
* Self-motivation with a high degree of integrity and able to perform job duties with minimal direction on a timely basis.
* Ability to successfully lead multiple projects
* Experience with mechanical design standards; OSHA, ASME, ANSI, ISO, etc.

Role Description:
The purpose of a Behavioral Health Specialist at Oak Street Health is to provide care management services and to provide evidence-based short-term psychotherapy to our patients with behavioral health needs. They are responsible for coordinating and supporting behavioral healthcare for our patients, in collaboration with Care Teams and a psychiatric consultant. The Behavioral Health Specialist will assess the needs of patients, make referrals to appropriate behavioral health resources and specialists, and provide short-term counseling and evidence-based treatments as indicated. This role has the potential option for remote work days based upon achievement and maintenance of program metrics.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the primary care teams to identify appropriate patients to refer to the Oak Street Behavioral Health Program
- Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders
- Develop care plans and provide or facilitate referrals to Oak Street’s psychiatric consultant and/or external resources
- Provide short-term counseling and evidence-based treatments
- Coordinate care with Oak Street’s psychiatric consultant, including warm handoffs for telehealth visits and collaboration on care plans
- Develop relationships with primary care teams and consistently communicate changes in behavioral health care plans
- Accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and counseling sessions in Oak Street’s electronic medical record
- Participate in regional and organizational efforts to advance Oak Street’s Behavioral Health Program through workshops, feedback sessions, and surveys
- Possibly covering multiple clinics, depending on the maturity and panel sizes of those clinics

What are we looking for?
Required:
- Master’s Degree in the field of mental health counseling/healing arts required from an accredited school (Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, etc.)
- Highest clinical level of license (or local equivalent)

AdventHealth Medical Group in Kansas City is offering a Program Director opportunity for a dynamic, experienced cardiovascular surgeon to lead our team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, a 500+ bed facility. AdventHealth in Kansas City is a leading, faith-based, not-for-profit health system with four hospitals in the greater Kansas City area.
The new surgeon will be able to continue to build and develop our CV surgery program and perform a variety of cases including coronary bypass, valvular repair/replacement, and structural heart procedures. Experience or interest in general thoracic surgery is preferred but not required. The new Program Director would have a portion of dedicated administrative time for service line building including responsibilities in quality, outreach, research and education. The new leader would also work alongside a multidisciplinary and growing team of general cardiologists, interventionalists, and electrophysiologists that will total 20 in the next two years. Facilitates or co-facilitates patient goals and exercise groups, and other groups as assigned.
Recognizes and reports to the RN any patient safety concerns or changes in patient behaviors.
Recognizes care activities/procedures which need to be shared among disciplines to maximize patient-centered, efficient care.
Understands General Safety/Falls Prevention Program (A-B-C-D risks and interventions).
Utilizes department/unit standards when providing care.
Utilizes unit and department techniques and protocols/standards.
Supervises patients always, ensures the meeting of patient's basic needs.
Provide needed supports to improve treatment outcomes.
Models positive behavior and effective problem solving techniques.
Assists with structured group activities.
Completes required documentation, forms and reports per policy.
Responsible for keeping the unit safe, clean and orderly.
May assist in laundry of patient clothing as needed and directed.
Provides crisis intervention and initiates emergency response plan, when necessary.
Attends staff meeting as directed.
Attends and completes all required in-service training and coursework on an annual basis per hospital requirements.
Monitors patient phone calls and visitations as required.
- Review patient case histories and become familiar with patient treatment plan goals.
Become familiar with the Employee Manual, Operations Manual and organizational policies and procedures.
Be able to perform CPR and basic elements as required utilizing CPI skills.
Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
