Position Summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly Project Manager to lead large-scale industrial power generation projects within the renewable energy sector. This role is focused on industrial power facilities, not commercial construction and not an office-only project management position.


The Project Manager will be responsible for full end-to-end project execution, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple technically complex projects. Projects are long-term in nature (2–3 years), highly engineered, and range from approximately $1M to $180M, with an emphasis on technical ownership and execution rather than project size alone.

  • Handle project set-up to include obtaining trailer, equipment, required signage and postings, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other items in accordance with company procedures. Demobilize at project end.
  • Through use of CMiC, complete accurate daily reports (including weather and subcontractor manpower reports), safety logs, equipment rentals, and cost coding.
  • Assist the Project Manager in issuance of monthly payment applications (e.g., percent complete of each activity).
  • Work with Project Manager and Project Administrator to ensure material deliveries and manpower loadings are in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Through use of CMiC, provide minutes of weekly superintendent/subcontractor meetings to attendees and Project Manager.
  • Create (or assist Project Manager with) Requests for Information (RFI’s) as needed.
  • Participate in applicable corporate meetings and forums.

Summary

The Project Safety Coordinator is responsible for providing safety support for a construction project. This is a junior position within the safety department. Project safety coordinators work closely with a site safety manager or regional safety manager as they gain the experience and knowledge necessary to work more independently.


Essential Functions

  • Supports the site management team by actively engaging them in dialog about safety concerns and passionately working to find practical, proactive solutions to create continuous safety improvement.
  • Interacts with General Contractors, owner representatives, and other Subcontractors on behalf of Helix Electric to resolve safety challenges.
  • Tracks and reports on safety incidents that occur on the project.
  • Assists the site management team in incident notification procedures and in conducting incident investigations to determine root cause and identify corrective actions.
  • Conducts safety training as needed for the project.
  • Conducts monthly job site safety committee meetings, creates agendas, and minutes for the committee.
  • Assists in the creation of JHA and AHA documentation.

Compensation

The starting base pay for this role is between USD $30-$45 per hour. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The Distribution Planning Manager is responsible for owning the development of the analytics & implementation of a process to optimize the distribution efficiency through best-in-class WM waving standards and inventory slotting strategy. In addition, this position will lead the team responsible for executing the waving standards, as well as own the management of MRO supplies for the facility to include driving cost savings in partnership with the global procurement team.


Responsibilities:

  • Own the development of the analytics and creation of new reporting that will optimize how product is waved to production to optimize productivity without sacrificing delivery to our customers
  • Lead the team of production control admins that will execute the designed strategy for waving and track their adherence to plan for performance reviews
  • SME (subject-matter-expert) in the DC’s slotting strategy and implementation of our slotting process in partnership with inventory control to ensure optimal picking paths are implemented quarterly based on demand & inventory availability changes
  • Responsible for either directly executing or managing the team responsible for executing the procurement of MRO supplies for the facility to include ensuring delivery of material and consistent cost reduction projects
  • Partner with other DCs to develop waving & slotting standards to help define a best-in-class process that is consistent across the entire network
  • Own the site’s high level capacity plan as supply leader within the S&OP process that includes partnering with demand planning & transportation teams to forecast incoming flow of items to proactively update slotting strategy to optimize inventory flow throughout the building
  • Develop tools to be able to track historical trends and seasonality of SKU’s and provide insights back to the order management team to support the flow of inventory for the DC
  • Assist with departmental workflow as needed by the site leadership team
  • Drive continuous improvement strategies within department and across the entire network
