Queens Hospital Center is part of the New York City public hospital system (NYC Health + Hospitals). Queens Hospital has been a Baby Friendly USA Designated Birthing Facility since May 2014 and a certified Gold level Cribs for Kids Unit since 2019. Our busy 15 bed Level 3 NICU offers most services except neonatal surgeries. The Mount Sinai Department of Neurology is seeking enthusiastic applicants for a fulfilling inpatient neurology opportunity.
This full-time position consists of inpatient consultative general neurology work at Mount Sinai Queens, part of the New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System. You will provide high quality care for patients with a broad range of basic and complex neurological diseases and neurological manifestations of systemic illness. Acute stroke and neurovascular diseases are not included in this role, as these are separately managed by our world-class Stroke Team. You will frequently collaborate with our superb neurological subspecialists (particularly in epilepsy and stroke). Finally, Mount Sinai Queens is a teaching site for the medical student core Neurology Clerkship, which is overseen by the on-service Neurology attending. Schedule opportunities include a combination of inpatient weeks, inpatient weekends, and outpatient time, depending on the applicant’s preferences. Over time, coverage needs may change or be flexible.
Our recently formed, system-wide Mount Sinai Neurohospitalist Division is a rapidly growing and dynamic space, where creativity, collaboration, and motivation are highly valued. The division is establishing practice standards, metrics, and protocols for inpatient neurology care quality across the system, collaborating with Neurocritical Care, Stroke, Epilepsy and other services, and harnessing information technology to elevate the quality and safety of care.

This position will be anchored at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, NY (Nassau County). Catholic Health is an integrated health care system serving the communities of Long Island, New York. The System is comprised of six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional Home Care and Hospice service, and a multiservice, community-based agency for developmentally disabled individuals. We are looking for a full time HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Engineer to fill a Project Manager position, must have at least 3yrs experience designing HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection for residential and commercial construction projects.
