The Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital (MSSN) in Oceanside, NY seeks a Program Director for its ACGME fully accredited Gastroenterology fellowship training program!
The program, which is comprised of two fellows per year (6 total), focuses on providing exceptional clinical training along with opportunities for clinically-oriented research. Required and elective experiences are all at Mount Sinai South Nassau, and its associated outpatient facilities, plus IBD and liver transplant rotations at The Mount Sinai Hospital, provide a truly unique experience with respect to the breadth of patients served. In addition, the Division has a separate advanced Interventional GI fellowship (one fellow / year).
The Program Director reports to Dr. Frank Gress, the Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and will be responsible for planning and carrying out the educational agenda for the program, along with the customary administrative responsibilities of the position such as mentoring, trainee evaluation and annual recruitment of new fellows. It is expected that the Program Director will work to create innovative educational experiences that enhance skills needed to care for an increasingly diverse population. Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Department of Medicine is strongly committed to treating the whole patient, and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. Of note, didactic and patient-oriented teaching involves not only fellows but also residents and medical students. The ideal candidate for this position is a Board Certified gastroenterologist who has practiced for at least five years and has a demonstrated interest in and commitment to medical education. This position will be supported as per ACGME recommendations, with the expectation that the selected candidate will also continue clinical practice in gastroenterology.

The Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital (MSSN) seeks a Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary in Oceanside, NY!
The Division of Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai has 10 physician faculty members at the hospital, including general GI, advanced interventionalists, mobility, IBD and hepatology experts. In addition, there are full time GI faculty at Mount Sinai Doctors Practices across Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and there are many voluntary GI physicians closely affiliated with the hospital and our endoscopic services. The hospital provides a full platform of specialized high-tech interventions (POEMS, EUS, etc.) in our very busy endoscopy unit, and the hospital performs complex hepatobiliary procedures, has an IBD center, a Mobility Center and there are two new major outpatient state-of-the-art ambulatory pavilions. The Mount Sinai Department of Neurology is seeking enthusiastic applicants for a fulfilling inpatient neurology opportunity.
This full-time position consists of inpatient consultative general neurology work at Mount Sinai Queens, part of the New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System. You will provide high quality care for patients with a broad range of basic and complex neurological diseases and neurological manifestations of systemic illness. Acute stroke and neurovascular diseases are not included in this role, as these are separately managed by our world-class Stroke Team. You will frequently collaborate with our superb neurological subspecialists (particularly in epilepsy and stroke). Finally, Mount Sinai Queens is a teaching site for the medical student core Neurology Clerkship, which is overseen by the on-service Neurology attending. Schedule opportunities include a combination of inpatient weeks, inpatient weekends, and outpatient time, depending on the applicant’s preferences. Over time, coverage needs may change or be flexible.
Our recently formed, system-wide Mount Sinai Neurohospitalist Division is a rapidly growing and dynamic space, where creativity, collaboration, and motivation are highly valued. The division is establishing practice standards, metrics, and protocols for inpatient neurology care quality across the system, collaborating with Neurocritical Care, Stroke, Epilepsy and other services, and harnessing information technology to elevate the quality and safety of care.

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science of the Mount Sinai Heath System (MSHS) is seeking Urogynecologists.
We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery who can provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality, safe and patient-centric care, personalized to each and every patient. The successful candidate will possess clinical abilities as demonstrated through training, education, certification and experience, strong interpersonal communication, leadership and organizational skills, embrace the teaching mission of the MSHS and qualify for an academic appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The candidate must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a full-time Urogynecologist to join its team on Long Island, New York! The Department consists of over 40 full-time and voluntary board-certified physicians providing care to the diverse community. As a member of the of the MSHS and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, we are able to offer the professional benefits of a major academic/research medical center. With over 2400 deliveries per year, the Department supports 16 residents in a four-year residency program and an active teaching program for third-year medical students. All OB/GYN sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Position Description:
1. Teach medical students and residents by lecture, rounds, and clinical activity in the office and operating room
2. Provide Urogynocology care, including ambulatory care and surgery in the hospital
3. General administration duties that include documenting and reviewing patient chart
4. Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities. Responsible for academic advising and related activitie
5. Significant involvement in the training of Urogynecology fellows and research. The department has 8 residents per year, 32 total
