Your New Role

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of accurate and comprehensive estimates throughout all phases of project design.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with clients, architects/engineers, and subcontractors to plan project cost factors
• Reviewing construction documents, specifications, and proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
• Participating in negotiations and client presentations
• Managing all CSI divisions

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience estimating projects for a general contractor, or strong related construction experience
• 5–15 years of experience as a Project Manager, Estimator, or Preconstruction Manager
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience (ground‑up and renovation)
• Proficiency with Takeoff/Estimating software (OST, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage teams
• Strong negotiation skills

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.

· Communicate any issues proactively and provide solutions in Pirtle's best interest to address these issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. A four-year Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management

2. Minimum 8 Years of experience in construction projects.

3. Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.

4. Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Primavera, and construction management software, is desirable

5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

6. Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities.

Job Description

• Negotiate, draft, and review purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, loan documents, development agreements, and closing documents
• Advise clients on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, zoning and land use, title and survey issues, and due diligence
• Lead and oversee due diligence for real estate transactions, including title review and related risk analysis
• Review title commitments in connection with nationally recognized title insurance companies
• Drive transactions forward and help ensure timely, efficient closings
• Counsel clients on transaction structure, strategy, and risk across a variety of real estate matters
• Stay current on legal and market developments affecting real estate transactions and property law
• Mentor and support associates within the practice group, including delegating work and helping develop junior talent
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other professionals to deliver strong client outcomes
• Support business development efforts and help deepen client and referral relationships

Qualifications

• J.D. from a highly regarded accredited law school
• Florida Bar member in good standing
