As a Senior Traffic Engineer at Sebago, you will:

• Lead traffic engineering projects through planning, analysis, and implementation. Mentor project staff on technical aspects of the projects.
• Oversee the development of traffic studies and permitting for both internal and external projects.
• Assist team staff with proposal efforts, presentations, client development, and management.
• Maintain relationships with clients and agencies and ensure project schedules and budget.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction drawings using industry standard guidelines.
• Analyze traffic data, including but not limited to, traffic volumes, crash data, active transportation user data, etc. Perform intersection and roadway analysis utilizing Synchro and SimTraffic
• Monitor existing signal systems. Sebago Technics has an in-house Traffic Monitoring Center where we provide on-call services to municipalities in Maine for the management of their systems.
• Oversee construction administration for traffic signal design projects.
• Lead meetings and presentations for projects.

This role is responsible for leading the estimating process for a wide range of commercial construction projects, delivering accurate, timely, and competitive estimates from schematic design through permit and construction documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full estimating process for commercial construction projects
• Interpret and analyze bid documents, including:
• Civil, Architectural, Structural
• Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical
• Fire Protection and Technology drawings
• Project specifications and addenda
• Generate accurate quantity take-offs using On-Screen Takeoff
• Prepare detailed cost estimates by CSI divisions, including labor, materials, equipment, and schedule projections
• Create, maintain, and annually update a historical cost database
• Develop and utilize bid leveling worksheets for various scopes of work
• Attend pre-bid walkthroughs, site visits, and meetings as required
• Prepare and submit complete and competitive bid proposals
• Define subcontractor scopes of work and solicit pricing
• Develop and issue subcontractor Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Ensure estimates comply with company standards, client requirements, and available resources
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation for all estimates
• Stay current on construction materials, pricing trends, and local regulations
• Identify potential safety risks and incorporate mitigation strategies into estimates
• Develop innovative construction means and methods to improve competitiveness and margins
• Build strong working relationships with subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners, and fellow estimators

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field — or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of construction estimating experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Proficiency with:
• Microsoft Office Suite
• On-Screen Takeoff
• Sage Estimating
• Bluebeam (or similar estimating tools)
• Experience developing conceptual estimates preferred
• Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail

MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) psychiatrist to join our team with a unique opportunity to work across multiple levels of care. The position includes:

• 3 days per week dedicated to Comprehensive Addiction Psychiatry Service (CAPS) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), both located at our Biddeford Main Street site:
• 2 days per week in a combination role providing psychiatric care for the PHP and coverage for the CAPS Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
• 1 day per week solely in the CAPS program, performing IOP intakes, patient follow-up, and outpatient care for a small caseload of CAPS clients.
• 2 days per week in outpatient care at either:
• Biddeford Ambulatory Clinic at Springbrook Drive, or
• Springvale Ambulatory Clinic, based on provider preference.

CAPS provides specialized care for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. Services include intensive outpatient programming, medication-assisted treatment, and integrated behavioral health approaches within a multidisciplinary team. The CAPS Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an in-person program that functions as a step-down level of care for individuals transitioning from the PHP program, supporting their recovery and ensuring continuity of care through a structured transition toward outpatient treatment.

Located at our Biddeford Main Street site, the PHP bridges the gap between inpatient and outpatient care, offering an alternative to hospitalization for individuals who require more intensive treatment than traditional outpatient visits. The program provides two distinct tracks:

• One focused on mental health stabilization
• Another dedicated to substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring conditions
• Structured, group-based therapy focused on emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and wellness

Primary Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (Major Focus)

• Lead all recruiting efforts for field and office positions including project managers, superintendents, and carpenters.
• Develop proactive recruiting strategies (LinkedIn, industry networks, recruiters, referrals, local outreach)
• Build and maintain a pipeline of commercial construction talent in Maine
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, manage offer process
