This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to work with a team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and proficiency in AutoCAD.

The HVAC Engineer will be a key player in a wide range of projects, from conceptual stages through to final handover, ensuring all work is completed to the highest technical standards.

Responsibilities: 1.

Design, develop, and engineer high-quality models using HVAC and MEP systems.

2.

Utilize AutoCAD to draft and simulate HVAC systems.

3.

Carry out heating and cooling loads for different structures using industry software.

4.

Conduct HVAC system conceptual design including equipment selection and system sizing.

5.

Prepare technical specifications and drawings for tender and construction.

6.

Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into the overall building design.

7.

Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.

8.

Ensure all HVAC systems are compliant with safety regulations and sustainable design principles.

9.

Provide troubleshooting and repair support for existing HVAC installations.

10.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest HVAC techniques and industry trends.

Qualifications: 1.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design and project management.

3.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP systems.

4.

Strong knowledge of HVAC system design and engineering.

5.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions.

6.

Proven ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

7.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

8.

Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.

9.

In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations.

10.

Certified HVAC Engineer (Professional Engineer or equivalent) is preferred.

Capable of writing operation manuals and service bulletins.

Areas of knowledge that are helpful: machining and fabrication operations regarding a weldment; operation and capabilities of construction equipment; and hydraulic and electrical systems.
