Primary Purpose of Position
Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and proposed modification of plant specific maintenance and technical training programs (Chemistry, Engineering, Maintenance: Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical, and Radiation Protection).
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Develops, schedules, coordinates, and conducts performance-based maintenance or technical training programs as required by user community in accordance with Constellation's systematic approach to training model, department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
- Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.
- Participates in CEC support activities, i.e. outage support, root cause support, line assessment support.
- Assures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design change and backfit information, CEC procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
- Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.
- Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.
- Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.
- Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high-quality training.
- Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with 5 years of nuclear technical background or 7 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience OR
- Associate's degree in technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, electrical, engineering, instrumentation, mathematics, mechanical, radiation protection), education or training with 3 years of nuclear technical background or 5 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience OR
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, engineering, health physics, mathematics, physics), education or training with 3 years of related (applicable discipline instruction) experience
- 2 years of training or education experience
- The requirements as outlined above meet or exceed ANSI/ANS-3.1-2 Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants"

Basic Duties
- Provide exceptional service to our customers by performing maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on allied type construction and Aerial work platform equipment.
- Responsible for picking-up and delivering equipment when necessary.
- Complete associated paperwork.
- Establish and maintain service-oriented working relationship with customers.
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of related work experience.
- Must have a good understanding of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Must be a self-starter, organized, with strong customer service orientation.
- Automotive and Industrial Maintenance Technicians are encouraged to apply.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Computer literacy required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
This position will work in the field/shop environment and at Customer jobsites. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75 lbs. Will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields, hearing protection, etc.) for a given situation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional travel may be required. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Job Title : Nuclear Engineer (Naval Reactors Engineer) Category / Component : Officer • Active Overview Design, regulate, and oversee the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, including reactor design, fleet operations, and eventual defueling and decommissioning of nuclear powered ships and submarines from Naval Reactors Headquarters and associated Department of Energy laboratories and shipyards.

Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting skills to restore product flow.

Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with manufacturing processes and principles.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical systems and controls utilized in industrial applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on rolling mill equipment (Mills, rolls, mill drive components, shears, table rolls, coilers, etc.), Aluminum, steel or Paper rolling preferred.
Strong maintenance background.
Technical degree or completion of an apprenticeship.
Experience in product and process failure analysis and an understanding of world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM SPC, TQM, etc.

Develop repair plans to include decisions on repairing/replacing parts and components on mechanical systems along with appropriate procedures and drawings.
