QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of applied experience in quality engineering, quality management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO-9001 and AAR M-1003 standards.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher preferred.
• Certified Quality Auditor (ISO-9001) preferred.
• ASQ certification or other recognized quality certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical procedures, engineering documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of the organization and mentor team members as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as required.

Provide Safety Health and Environmental leadership and training to ensure continuous improvement in EHS performance. This is primarily a support role working under the site EHS Manager. Assisting with the administration of compliance programs, procedures, and policies. This role may also act as a liaison with regulatory agencies when necessary.

This position covers two Illinois Innophos locations: Chicago Heights and Riverdale. These two facilities are located approximately 10 miles apart. Work performed will be in a manufacturing of specialty ingredients setting and an office setting. Key Responsibilities

• Supportive role providing Health, Safety and Environmental direction, leadership, and training to ensure continuous improvement in EHS performance
• Contribute to and support compliance programs, procedures, and policies and acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies when necessary
• Support all health, safety, and environmental programs, including developing, writing, implementing, auditing, and maintaining policies and procedures in compliance with company, local, state and federal rules and regulations
• Provide training to employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemical, toxins, equipment, and other materials
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations including recordkeeping
• Lead role in weekly safety meetings, and coordinator for EHS training including communications

Required Education And Experience

• BS degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of experience in a health and safety role at a manufacturing location, preferably in the chemical or food industry

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills, including the ability to train
• Working knowledge of OSHA and USEPA regulatory matters covering industrial chemical process operations

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. Mechanical Engineer to design and develop world-class mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic products for an international client of ours. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a full product life cycle, from the creation of product specifications to full production and support. Responsibilities also include technical support, design improvement, testing, and cost reduction of existing legacy product lines. A desire to grow withing an ESOP company, eventually lead the Engineering department.

Job Duties:

• Design products and systems by understanding customer requirements, industry/market needs, and researching competition.
• Apply standard Engineering principles to product designs, mechanics, kinematics, FEA, hydraulics, pneumatics, and material science.
• Carry out patent searches to identify potential infringement issues with existing products.
• Use SolidWorks 3D CAD software to design parts, assemblies, and create Engineering drawings.
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Assembly personnel throughout the design and prototype fabrication process to ensure production feasible designs.
• Accept full responsibility for prototypes, including dimensional part inspection, assembly, and ordering any outside vendor components or secondary services.
• Validate product performance and system capabilities by writing test plans, conducting tests, acquiring data, analyzing information and trends, and documenting results.
