What you will do:

Responsibilities for the Regional Engineer are to support our plants with Shipping & Formation to aid in OEE improvements, New Product Launches, Equipment Qualifications, and Equipment Development for the Future. As well as Support & Mentor plant Engineering Teams with critical issues/challenges that are putting them at risk.

How you will do it:

  • Accountable Subject Matter Expert in the Shipping & Formation in multiple plants throughout the US. Aid in troubleshooting, qualifications & implementation of equipment from suppliers to the shop floors.
  • Support critical issues at any given plant that require support to meet or correct major issues in the plants from meeting targets.
  • Work with Plant & Corporate Maintenance & TPM Teams to standardize TPM activities & Spare Part Inventories. Work to improve OEE and maximize throughput in the Shipping & Formation Areas.
  • Lead Advanced Manufacturing activities for new technologies & automation opportunities and development of SSOW's. Aid in conducting MQ1 through MQ3 Equipment Qualifications & Plant Implementations.
  • Support CAPEX Projects for capacity expansions & launches throughout the network following the D3 Process in the Shipping & Formation Area.
  • Deployment of approved ETC (equip and tool change release) across plants. Guide plant manufacturing engineers on the execution of SSOW, Layout, flow, PFMEA, PHIL & Machine Qualification. Mentor the development of new engineers within the plants in the Shipping & Formation Areas.
  • Standardize activities associated with Shipping & Formation while sharing Best Practices from other plants.
  • Own and maintain the Regional PFMEA for the process step they are assigned to include master updates and continued risk reduction (variation reduction, occurrence reduction, detection improvement).

What we look for:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (BSEE degree preferred).
  • 6 + years of equivalent work experience and technical expertise.
  • Experience in manufacturing equipment related to conveying, chemical process transfer, electrical rectification, or automated equipment, including controls programming and troubleshooting and replacement of machine components.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and capabilities of establishing/installing work methods and labor measurement standards.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 75%, depending on location.

Preferred

  • Experience in packaging, labeling, and palletizing of materials.
  • Allen Bradley PLC B architecture design experience and programming skills with 500 (SLC) and 5000 (Compact/Control Logix), etc.
  • Allen-Bradley servo motion control programming experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform repetitive tasks related to preventative maintenance, supply and servicing of facilities, machinery and equipment.
  • Assist trade groups as required.
  • Under the direction of supervisor or project leader, work from specified methods and procedures, exercise care and use judgment for routine tasks associated with machine and equipment servicing and assist trades groups on projects.
  • Assist others in system operation, care, use and preventative maintenance techniques where a limited knowledge of specialized trade terminology is required to understand instructions.

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3PM - 11PM

What You Will Do

  • Receive job assignments, piece quantity, and special instructions from the supervisor.
  • Read standard operating procedures and operating sheets.
  • Clean, wipe, and sand parts as necessary.
  • Set torque wrenches and assemble brakes and their components.
  • Test brakes, rework brakes with leaks, and replace lee plugs as needed.
  • Stamp information on tags or pads and notify the supervisor of stock needs or machine problems.
  • Record transactions and quality data; report machine or process issues to the supervisor.
  • Check parts against the pick list and set up riveters as required.
  • Torque all applications as required.
  • Retrieve parts from the warehouse and store/retrieve brake components, maintaining current inventory records.
  • Prepare brakes and brake components for shipment, including packaging, counting, weighing, labeling, and completing paperwork.
  • Move materials between workstations and cells using hand trucks, hoists, or robot assistance.
  • Set aside discrepant parts.
  • Clean and maintain work areas, machines, auxiliary equipment, and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
  • Check and maintain operating levels of fluids and required machine materials.
  • Mask and plug parts as needed and touch up paint as required.
  • Attend training classes and cell meetings, and perform miscellaneous operations as assigned in support of Brake Assembly.
  • You will be required to perform mathematical calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication or division and pass a pre-employment qualification test.
  • You will be required to perform substantial reaching and moving while standing, twisting; stooping; and be response to sounds associated to the work environment.
  • You will be required to lift to 25 lbs. unassisted, anything over 25 lbs. would be assisted.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment as required.

 Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
 

  • Identify and champion impactful initiatives seeking continuous improvement in safety performance and environmental compliance
  • Establish a site high consequence program to manage severe incidents with fatality (SIF) and ensure flawless execution of site life critical programs
  • Gauge and correct the execution of site EHS programs through inspections, audits, SMATs, cold-eye reviews
  • Coach, mentor, and support the development and guidance of line management on EHS topics
  • Proactively drive awareness and communicates best practices related to Safety, Health and Environment, promoting an autonomous EHS culture
  • As required, meet with regulatory agencies
  • Partner with other key EHS team members during routine calls
  • Oversee the filing of all internal, corporate, and required government reporting relating to regulatory compliance
  • Maintains an EHS compliance calendar, audits compliance system routinely, and ensure compliance gaps are corrective
  • Maintain site required ISO certifications
  • Ensure compliance with site permits and plans (indirect discharge, SPCC, SWPPP, Air)
  • Manage and ensure compliance with the waste management program (hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal)
  • Become a technical expert on site process technologies
  • Help operations navigate complex regulations and company standards.
  • Establish both a short term and long term EHS strategy for the site in conjunction with guidance from the Plant Manager and CCC/Chemviron Center of Excellence
  • This EHS strategy shall be monitored as a KPI across the site and the incumbent will establish accountability channels to ensure that all levels of the organization delivers EHS results
  • This individual shall also participate and lead cultural transformation across the site to achieve sustainable results
  • Work closely with the Regional Center of Excellence leaders to verify quality of programs and processes via audit and self-assessment tools
     

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (preferably in an Environmental Management discipline, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering)
  • A master’s degree or equivalent is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • 3-5 years of working knowledge and expertise in Environmental regulations and maintaining compliance with pertinent regulations is required
  • 3-5 years of strong EHS and in OSHA/EPA regulations and reporting experience is required

Key Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator or Project Engineer works under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager within an assigned group. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR


Estimating Leadership

  • Lead and manage the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects from conceptual through final bid documents.
  • Establish bid strategies and ensure complete, accurate scope coverage across all divisions.
  • Review and validate all estimates prior to submission, ensuring that pricing aligns with project drawings, vendor proposals, and company standards.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to estimating staff on takeoffs, bid leveling, and proposal documentation.
  • Identify and communicate value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency without sacrificing quality.

Bid and Proposal Management

  • Manage the full bid process from RFP intake through submission, including document control, trade solicitation, bid coverage, and leveling.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR

  • Deep understanding of construction means, methods, and cost structures across commercial building types.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The typical annual base salary range for this role is $95-129k. The base salary offer will depend on experience and other relevant factors. This role is eligible for project bonuses as well as an annual incentive plan.
