Opportunity
Skybound is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Systems Designer to help build a thrilling new game franchise. The Senior Systems Designers create rewarding loops that help players set goals, progress, and stay engaged over multiple play sessions. They craft and tune player advancement and rewards across the entire game.
You will collaborate closely with the Game Director, department leads, and cross-disciplinary teams to define and drive the strategic vision for player progression and meta systems. You'll mentor other designers, establish best practices, and ensure the systems design team delivers high-quality, scalable solutions that support both gameplay and business goals.

Reports: This position will report to Game Director.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the vision and execution of player progression, meta systems, and engagement loops across single and multiplayer experiences.
- Define and drive KPIs for progression systems that align with player satisfaction and business goals.
- Mentor and guide systems designers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Own major feature areas from concept through implementation, ensuring quality and consistency across the game.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, art, UX, and production to ensure systems are well-integrated and technically feasible.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the games industry, with a focus on systems design and progression.
- Proven leadership experience, including mentoring designers and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Shipped at least one AAA title with significant ownership of progression or meta systems.
- Deep understanding of player psychology, engagement strategies, and content pacing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex systems into clear, actionable designs.
- Experience collaborating with engineering on tool development and pipeline optimization.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with fluency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $165,000

Position Summary:

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS) and overseeing daily Quality Assurance operations for cosmetic and OTC drug manufacturing. This role ensures full compliance with FDA regulations, including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP), cGMP requirements, and applicable industry standards. The Quality Manager serves as a key quality leader, driving regulatory compliance, audit readiness, product safety, and continuous improvement across raw materials, in-process, bulk, and finished goods. This position plays a critical role in supporting product launches, customer requirements, and regulatory inspections while developing and leading quality personnel.
This position acts as a delegate of the Director of Quality, providing leadership during regulatory inspections, customer audits, and cross-functional decision-making. The Quality Manager drives inspection readiness, product quality, data integrity, and compliance culture across the organization and is expected to demonstrate the leadership, technical depth, and business judgment required for progression into a Director-level role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Quality Leadership:
· Execute and support the long-term quality strategy aligned with business objectives for cosmetic and OTC drug manufacturing.
· Serve as a quality authority with decision-making responsibility for product disposition, risk acceptance, and compliance escalation.
· Act as a designee for the Director of Quality during audits, inspections, and internal governance meetings.
· Lead Quality Management Reviews, presenting trends, risks, compliance gaps, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership.
· Champion a strong quality culture focused on patient and consumer safety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Regulatory & Audit Ownership:
· Ensure full compliance with FDA 21 CFR Parts 210 & 211, ISO 22716, cGMP, and applicable regulatory and customer standards.
· Lead preparation and execution of FDA inspections, customer audits, certification audits, and regulatory assessments.
· Serve as a primary or co-primary audit host, managing responses, commitments, and regulatory correspondence as needed.
· Oversee internal audit programs and ensure timely, effective closure of audit findings and CAPAs.
· Support regulatory submissions, product changes, and quality impact assessments in collaboration with Regulatory Affairs and R&D.
· Serve as secondary contact for GFCO certification, ensuring ongoing compliance and audit readiness.
Quality Systems & Compliance Excellence:
· Own and continuously improve core quality systems, including:
o Deviations, OOS/OOT, and investigations
o CAPA and change management
o Document control and SOP governance
o Complaint handling and trending
o Supplier quality oversight
· Ensure quality systems meet FDA and ISO expectations for traceability, data integrity, and risk management.
· Establish and monitor quality KPIs and metrics to proactively identify compliance risks and improvement opportunities.
Quality Assurance & Laboratory Oversight:
· Provide strategic and operational oversight of the Quality Assurance Laboratory supporting cosmetic and OTC products.
· Ensure compliant testing, review, and release of raw materials, in-process materials, bulk products, and finished goods.
· Review and approve laboratory data, test results, investigations, deviations, and final product disposition decisions.
· Ensure laboratory operations align with GMPs, validated methods, and regulatory expectations.
· Partner with Operations, R&D/Product Development, Supply Chain, and Engineering to support:
o New product introductions (NPI)
o Process validations and changes
o Formulation and raw material changes
o Stability and shelf-life programs
People Leadership & Talent Development:
· Lead, mentor, and develop Quality and Laboratory personnel with a focus on succession planning and performance excellence.
· Build technical and leadership capability within the quality organization through structured training and coaching.
· Evaluate performance, manage accountability, and support corrective actions when required.
· Promote cross-functional collaboration and quality ownership at all levels of the organization.
Continuous Improvement & Risk Management:
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance, efficiency, and inspection readiness.

Skills and Abilities:
- Proven leadership in regulated cosmetic and/or OTC drug manufacturing environments.

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of 3+ years in a supervisory or management role with demonstrated leadership growth.
- Direct experience supporting or leading FDA inspections and regulatory audits.
Strong working knowledge of quality systems, laboratory operations, and electronic quality management systems (eQMS).

Role Description
The responsibility of the Manufacturing Engineer is to carry out the goals of the Engineering department under the direction of the Engineering Manager. This role ensures equipment reliability, safety, and minimal downtime by combining technical expertise with team coordination. Key Responsibilities:
Hands-On Technical Maintenance
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting and repairs.
- Lead emergency response and root‑cause problem solving for equipment failures.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure preventative and predictive maintenance tasks are completed.
- Support equipment upgrades, system improvements, and adoption of new technologies.
Team Leadership & Daily Coordination
- Assign work, set priorities, and guide maintenance technicians on daily tasks.
- Provide on‑the‑job training, coaching, and informal performance feedback.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and ensure the team follows best practices.
Safety, Compliance & Risk Management
- Enforce safety procedures including PPE use, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and hazard mitigation.
- Partner with EHS to report, investigate, and document any incidents or near misses.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure maintenance work meets regulatory and company safety standards.
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production disruptions.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor on preventive maintenance programs and scheduling.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment issues.
- Occasionally prepare maintenance reports and downtime analyses when covering for the Supervisor.
Inventory & Resource Management
- Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory, tools, and critical supplies.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors to source materials cost‑effectively.
- Track usage trends and help forecast inventory needs to prevent shortages or excess.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to align maintenance priorities with operational goals.
- Communicate equipment status, risks, progress, and resource needs to management.
- Support planned maintenance windows and communicate timing to minimize disruption.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to increase equipment reliability and extend machinery life.
- Analyze recurring issues and maintenance trends to recommend process or equipment improvements.
- Promote a culture of continual learning and improvement within the maintenance team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands‑on industrial maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, automation).
- Prior lead or informal leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to make quick, safety‑focused decisions.
- Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance planning tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to train and develop technicians while balancing hands‑on repair work.
- High school diploma required; technical/vocational training or certifications a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Must be able to work with required PPE and perform physical duties including standing, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 25–30 lbs.
- Strong communication, organization, reasoning, and mathematical competency (arithmetic, algebra, geometry; ability to apply technical math in diagnosing equipment).

Qualifications:

- Proficiency with FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) reporting, documentation, and validation to AS9102 standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively across all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to conduct formal training on changes and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of QMS reporting, record keeping, and documentation practices.
