To support our growing business, we are seeking an experienced hands on Software Development leader to lead a 4-8 member development team.
The team is self-organized around the project work, supporting a complex Retail Order Management System to deliver specified features and meet customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do: As a Software Development IT Manager, your responsibility includes: • Leading transformational projects from legacy-based systems to modern languages and architectures • Championing contemporary engineering practices such as API‑driven design, event‑based integrations, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps tooling • Actively supporting agile (Scrum) development methodologies for development projects • Providing coaching, support, and guidance to developers and scrum masters • Working closely with the product owner to establish solid relationships with business stakeholders and organize the product back log.
• Keeping feature stakeholders updated throughout the development cycle • Coordinating work that spans multiple teams and cross-functional partners • Identifying and driving opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains • Assisting direct reports with career growth and personal development • Delivering projects on-time, on-budget and aligned with business objectives
