We are seeking a high-performing Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technical and new product development (NPD) projects within a global technology environment. This role is responsible for driving projects from concept through launch while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and business teams to manage project plans, track milestones, mitigate risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance product requirements with technical constraints, facilitate decision-making, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates bring strong technical project management experience, NPDI phase-gate knowledge, risk management skills, and the ability to influence teams across global organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product development, and operations to successfully deliver complex technical projects.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and work breakdown structures.
• Drive projects through the New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) Phase-Gate process from concept through launch.
• Monitor project performance and ensure milestones, deliverables, and timelines remain on track.
• Identify project risks, issues, and blockers, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status, timelines, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership through regular reporting.
• Manage change control processes and ensure adherence to project governance standards.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve technical challenges and negotiate trade-offs.
• Track and analyze project performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Document lessons learned and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills/Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or product development leadership.
• Experience managing projects within New Product Development (NPD) or NPDI phase-gate frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and change management.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15–20% domestically or internationally and participate in global meetings outside of standard business hours.

This is a 12 month contract. The pay range for this role is between $50 - $69/Hr.

What you’ll be doing

• The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare, coordinate manufacturing equipment to support new model launches as well as unit plant competitiveness.
• Developing process plans for production lines within the powertrain department with direct support from the Manager.

Requirements:

• AutoCad experience, including the ability to read, interpret and modify 2D drawings
• Experience creating and implementing assembly processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience and/or exposure to powertrain manufacturing processes
• Experience in production preparation of manufacturing and experience in execution of capital projects, preferably from initial planning to start of production.
• Experience with detail schedule creation and utilization for capital projects greater than $500K
• Equipment installation and validation
• PLC experience, including the ability to investigate and troubleshoot
• Ability to support weekends, off shift, and holidays as needed. Overtime Percentage: 20 % (Depending upon project schedule)
• Ability to work plant scheduled shutdown times each year (December). Shut down period - December
• Ability for business travel, both domestic and international. Travel Percentage: 10% - 40% for Domestic Travel. 1% international
• Ability for business travel to other North American sites to support future projects
• Steel Toes shoes will be required for this role. 80% of time on shop floor.

What You Will Do

• Practical application of project management skills:

  • Create a schedule and integrate safety tasks and activities into program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Plan/manage the safety program effort within the Program IMS.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience developing and implementing MIL-STD-882E System Safety Program tasks and analyses, involving management (task series 100), analysis (task series 200), evaluation (task series 300), and verification (task series 400). This includes hardware and software safety related tasks.
• Experience with presentation skills to brief safety status to safety approval authority at technical reviews, safety review boards, and others as part of the safety approval process.

The Shipboard Effectors Department is currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer II to work on a multi-discipline team to support the production of Shipboard Effectors products and subsystems located in Huntsville, AL.

This is an onsite role with regular support required in a production missile integration facility.

This position requires strong communication skills to collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality. Experience with hardware integration and test, supplier first article inspections, production work instructions and failure investigation principals are strongly desired.

Candidate will work closely with Integrated Product Team Leads/Program Managers to ensure that engineering requirements are defined, risks are managed, and schedules/budgets are met. This Principal Engineer hardware position is focused on supporting and driving the design, development, integration, and maintenance of electronics as a part of on-site factory support of test systems to support weapon system product development and deliveries. The selected candidate will support and drive the development of electrical designs, Interconnect designs, electrical system analysis and integrated development environment specified by the factory solutions and the TSEC organization.

What You Will Do:

• Prioritize and handle several engineering tasks concurrently
• Lead small teams of Electrical Hardware design engineers in support of complex cabling, test chassis or test system solutions
• Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
• Lead the troubleshoot of hardware and test equipment instrumentation in Factory Test Platform solutions
• Work and coach/lead in a multidiscipline engineering team environment
• Interact and engage with Engineering, Operations PTEs, and program personnel to support factory readiness and robustness
• Support the development and derivation of requirements for hardware and electrical products

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field.
• Eight (8) years of experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test
• Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics

An Electronics Lab Assembly/Solder Technician is responsible for assembling, cabling, and validating complex testing rack test systems. The Effector Guidance Electronics Department designs digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units which are supported from proposal through transition to production. The Senior Principal Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for missile applications. The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
