Guides and stewards assigned projects in accordance with the Airgas Specialty Gases Project Management process. The function includes project planning and scheduling, scope definition, engineering design and review, functional and parts specification, budgeting, budget stewardship, quality assurance, coordination of risk assessment and mitigation, planning maintenance and procedures, communications and project documentation. Job Title : Nuclear Engineer (Naval Reactors Engineer) Category / Component : Officer • Active Overview Design, regulate, and oversee the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, including reactor design, fleet operations, and eventual defueling and decommissioning of nuclear powered ships and submarines from Naval Reactors Headquarters and associated Department of Energy laboratories and shipyards.

• Mathematical skills including probablitiy and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry

This position places an emphasis on reliability and attentiveness, as maintaining both a truck log and the trucks themselves are daily responsibilities that come along with the position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Performs all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
• Drives truck to destination
• Prepares receipts for load pick up
• Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
• Loads and unloads truck
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
• Performs daily pre and post trip of vehicle
• Tarps all loads when public roadway travel is necessary
• Trims all loads prior to tarping when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution
• Class A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience OR Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience

• Reads job order and observes and listens to truck or equipment in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures.
• Installs new ignition systems, aligns front wheels, changes, or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions and other parts.
• Replaces gas or diesel engines.
• Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and equipment, and adjusts.
• Lubricates and services vehicles
• Fabricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to schematic drawings.
• Collision repair, sand, prep, and paint
• Completes all standard maintenance on trucks and equipment and ensures state inspection requirements are met for cars, trucks, and trailers

• One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school in diesel mechanics or a related field OR 2 years of related experience and/or training
