As a Mission Architect, you will be an OPIR Subject Matter Expert (SME), overseeing mission architecture and spacecraft/constellation design across one or more programs. You will oversee all aspects of designing, developing, and fielding Remote Sensing (RS) space segments, including integration with ground and user segments. You will design and develop modeling and simulation tools and methods to validate mission scenarios and assess end-to-end system performance against Key Performance Parameters (KPPs). You will be responsible for assessing sensor design, development, and performance, conducting solution trades, and decomposing requirements for payload and algorithm vendors. You will be integral to writing proposals, requirements definition, system design, integration & test, and on-orbit operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Define architecture and system requirements for OPIR missions
- Lead modeling and simulation efforts to assess system performance
- Develop CONOPS at the spacecraft, constellation, and mission level
- Architect and implement Mission Data Processing (MDP) algorithms (onboard and ground-based)
- Oversee mission level budgets and KPPs (e.g. LOS knowledge, jitter/smear, optical transmission, latency, etc.)
- Ensure space system (including Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) payloads and bus components) meet mission level requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences or computer science with 14+ years of related experience; or a master's degree with 12+ years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the design, development, delivery, and operation of space based remote sensing missions
- Experience in earth-observing EO/IR missions
- Expertise in development of mission modeling and simulation tools to assess sensing mission performance
- Experience n the design and performance of EO/IR sensors
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 20+ years of experience in the design, development, delivery, and operation of space-based OPIR missions

Job Summary
The Astrodynamics Team is responsible for conducting a range of modeling, simulation, and analyses in areas such as space mission design, trajectory design, orbital maneuvers, orbit estimation, space debris collision and avoidance analyses, and space domain awareness. Engineers in the Astrodynamics group are integral throughout the entire program lifecycle, providing mission design inputs, maneuver plans to meet mission objectives, as well as console support for on-orbit operations. They are directly responsible for determining the necessary capability of the satellite's propulsion system and successfully maneuvering vehicles during flight operations. They oversee the orbital Concept-of-Operations (CONOPS) from inception to on-orbit operations, and through to end-of-life disposal.
As the Astrodynamics Engineering Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for technical, budget, and resource allocation to meet team member needs, customer requirements, program needs, and company goals. You will set the engineering standard for the team, define roles and responsibilities, establish processes/workflow, and facilitate mentorship and training by Astrodynamics Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You will ensure that programs are adequately staffed and program objectives are met on time and on budget. You will be involved in forecasting future staffing needs based on the new business pipeline, and you will work side-by-side with Millennium Recruiting to build the team at all experience levels. Millennium Space Systems (MSS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Spacecraft Harness Engineer (Level 4 or Level 5) to join the MSS team in El Segundo, CA!
In this role, you will be working in missions with continuous changing requirements and expectations, typical of research & development (R&D) environments, and support transitioning missions into high-rate production.
We are looking for talented individuals who can manage complex interfaces and are willing to innovate. Talented individuals with strong foundations in cable & harness design and/or printed wiring board design, such as rigid printed circuit board or flex-based circuit board for our interconnect solutions. Our engineers possess a strong foundation and knowledge of space vehicle, spacecraft, and/or payload logical architecture. From proposal creation to designing schematics to working hands on in the harness lab to watching a satellite being pushed onto a truck and taken to the launch site, you'll have a hand in it all.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Development & analysis of EWIS architectures for multiple programs and bus configurations from mission and scientific payloads to experimental LEO small satellites to MEO constellations and GEO vehicles.
- Generation of subsystem or unit-to-unit electrical block diagrams.
- Definition and documentation of signal connectivity through cross functional coordination with system, subsystem, and product engineers for spacecraft harness or printed wiring board design.
- Selection of harness components and hardware, such connectors, backshells, and wire/cable based on applicable satellite mission requirements and industry standards.
- Performance of voltage drop analysis, power current derating, and capacitance circuit analysis for harness and printed wiring boards.
- Development and analysis of PCB designs determination board form factor, schematic capture, board stack determination, component placement and trace routing.
- Generation of rigid or rigid-flex PCB, PCB Assembly Drawings, fabrication & assembly output files (Geber, ODB , etc.)
- Generation harness schematic diagrams, wire diagrams, and wire harness assembly drawings.
- Preparation and generation of harness acceptance testing procedures including the development of harness test scripts for cable testers.
- Participation of critical programmatic milestones (Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, etc.) including the preparation of data packages, conduction of design reviews, and closure of any liens from the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA).
- Support assembly and testing of FlatSat and flight harnesses while reporting on cost and schedule performance.
- Capture of as-built, made on assembly mockup harness builds to produce 2D/3D formboards.
- Support with the creation, maintenance, or update of harness design, assembly, and test standards and command media.
- Support in proposals and business development efforts as the responsible engineering authority (REA).
- Management of external suppliers and subcontractors for harness and printed circuit board delivery.

As a Sr. Test Engineer, you will develop manufacturing processes to build, test, and launch satellites while dually implementing test procedures for dynamic and thermal environmental testing of components, subsystems, and satellite products. You will be responsible for leveraging design for testability and continuous improvement to deliver space-grade avionics, structures, and propulsion hardware at high rate and low cost, without ever compromising personnel safety or product reliability. Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of support for environmental test equipment and processes, and maintain responsibility over test execution for spacecraft hardware
- Create spacecraft hardware test procedures, ensure test readiness, and unblock issues that arise during test campaigns (qualification and acceptance)
- Develop standard operating procedures for environmental test technicians
- Establish and increase the efficiency of manufacturing test processes to maximize output, limit burden, and enable products to rapidly transition from engineering development to high rate production
- Identify improvement opportunities and execute initiatives to maintain safe operations, ensure product quality, reduce lead time/labor hours, etc. through environmental test Identify, implement, and qualify environmental test equipment and processes in support of high reliability and throughput production
- Troubleshoot and identify root cause of issues in environmental test processes (i.e. due to spacecraft hardware defects, test equipment anomalies, software problems, etc.), then implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Enable production autonomy by challenging requirements, simplifying work processes, and implementing automation
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert for environmental test processes and equipment
- Develop test equipment automation to improve efficiency of environmental test processes, limit the likelihood of error, and maximize throughput

Your team will coordinate closely with products, harnessing, and flight software to develop common and forward leaning SV EPS architectures. You will coordinate with other engineering teams, programs, and products to provide staff, solve technical tasks, resolve discrepancies, and improve internal processes to support our spacecraft missions.

Job Summary
As a Mission Operations Engineer, you will be the lead technical authority for Millennium's on-orbit spacecraft. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of spacecraft and subsystem engineers during launch and early orbit activities to commission the space vehicle(s) for service

- Build and manage relationships with vendors and agencies, from onboarding and scoping through day-to-day project management and invoicing.
- Provide ongoing visibility into campaign status, resource use, and spend, clearly communicating trade-offs and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Act as a strategic partner to creative leadership, bringing operational rigor, scalable processes, and production insights to support campaign strategy.
- Surface key decisions, risks, and blockers early, driving clarity, alignment, and accountability across internal and external teams.
What you bring:
- 10+ years in creative production, project management, or marketing operations, ideally within entertainment, media, or creative agencies.
- Proven experience running multi-channel marketing campaigns across video, social, digital, paid media, and international formats.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AV and post-production workflows, especially for trailers and short-form content.
- Track record of successfully leading high-profile campaigns with large budgets and tight timelines in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Demonstrated ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared plan, shepherd assets from concept through delivery, and keep teams accountable.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills—you’re comfortable juggling multiple complex initiatives at once.
- Clear, confident communication style, with experience presenting production updates, solutions, and budget insights to senior leaders.
- Advanced proficiency with workflow and tracking tools (e.g., Airtable, Excel or similar), and a passion for building systems that increase visibility and efficiency.
