Setup and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts, following established guidelines and procedures.

Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.

3.

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately set up and run CNC lathes.

4.

Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions of finished workpieces.

Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

6.

Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machining processes and techniques for improved efficiency and quality.

7.

Document and report any issues or deviations in the machining process to the supervisor.

Train and mentor junior machinists, sharing knowledge and best practices.

9.

Utilize a hydraulic press as needed in the production process.

Qualifications: 1.

High School Diploma or equivalent, with a technical degree or certification in machining or related field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC lathe operations, with a solid understanding of CNC setup and operation.

3.

Proficiency in using a hydraulic press.

4.

Strong knowledge of machining processes, inspection tools, and mechanical equipment.

5.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

6.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

7.

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a machining environment.

8.

Good communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

9.

Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work for extended periods.

Minimum 2 years of experience with Studio 5000 and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms.

Proven ability to program and troubleshoot complex chiller or boiler plant sequences (central utility plants).

Experience with redundant PLC architectures and controller failover strategies.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environments.

The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years.

Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education), the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and potential travel within a near geography for training are required This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
