Job Summary
Perform advanced custodial services and facilitate and/or oversee routine and detailed housekeeping operations to ensure assigned unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. This position will interact on a regular basis with: staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: staff. This position will supervise.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Assign and inspect custodial/housekeeping work and related projects/activities to maintain unit/facility cleanliness levels and appearance
Job Duty 2 -
Perform specialized cleaning operations necessary to ensure unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner
Job Duty 3 -
Maintain supply inventory necessary to successfully perform routine and detailed custodial services

Respond to system-transmitted service requests

Transport custodial employees to and from work assignments, as necessary

Department Information
The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. The graduate CS program is currently ranked 6th and the undergraduate 5th nationally by U.S. News and World Report. The College consists of five Schools that provide specialized and general computing education to the entire campus. With over 16-degree programs, including its world-renowned online MS in CS, we believe the College to be the largest Computing unit in the United States and, as such, one of the largest producers of computationalist at all levels and of all demographic backgrounds. Job Summary
Provide support services in the operation and maintenance of an academic or research laboratory to include performing analyses; setup, operation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment; and maintaining stock of supplies. Job Summary
Under the Criminal Investigations Division of the Georgia Tech Police Department, support investigators with online searches, data retrieval, and online data tracking. Provide online support for investigators when needed and provides on-call data retrieval. Investigate, analyze, obtain, compile, and disseminate records and information to assist law enforcement personnel with all types of criminal investigations. Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Conduct & Log Threat Assessments/Open-Source Checks. Manage and disseminate the collection of criminal intelligence data for entry into an information storage and retrieval systems. Review overnight activity reports and conduct criminal intelligence workups for individuals identified in the reports; disseminate information to the appropriate investigative entity.
Job Duty 2 -
Support Patrol/Investigations Division with Video Footage. Use open-source data and software to document and track potential threatening individuals, situations, and security-related issues to the campus of Georgia Tech.
Job Duty 3 -
Conduct investigations for assigned cases and provide assistance for non-assigned cases. Coordinate the exchange of interstate and intrastate information pertaining to criminal activity and criminal movement; prepare analytical reports of intelligence information; research patterns, structures, trends, and movements of criminal groups or individuals; develop recommendations for subsequent investigation; create draw charts and maps to substantiate recommendations.

Create intelligence briefings and case updates for dissemination department-wide. Research, compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data from department and outside agency reports as well as threat referrals to make appropriate and timely notifications.

Install, repair, replace, operate, maintain, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing component used in HVAC.

Troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and digital controls.

May require purchase and accounting for HVAC related parts and materials.

Position requires the ability to read prints, drawings, and schematics via paper copies and computerized software systems. In addition, the job requires ability to operate machine tools, motor vehicles (may include forklift), hand/power tools, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. The position requires the ability to troubleshoot and to sequence tasks for specific assignments.

Department Information
The Campus Recreation Complex (CRC) is a 300,659 sq. ft. facility located on Ferst Drive on the West side of Georgia Tech's campus. The complex is a unique expansion of the existing swimming and diving venue built for the 1996 Olympic Games. Campus Recreation provides a premier recreation fitness center, aquatic center, recreation fields, and leadership challenge course for the Georgia Tech community. We offer programming that includes Intramural Sports, Club Sports, Fitness Instruction and Classes, and Outdoor Recreation.
Job Summary
Plan, organize, and implement fitness programs. Provide group fitness classes, instructional classes, or personal training. These classes may include activity course sections, aerobic exercise, weight training, dance, martial arts, flexibility, and other various conditional formats. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs.
