We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Controls Engineer to lead the development, optimization and implementation of advanced control systems across critical infrastructure products and automation platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of critical systems, with a strong emphasis on data center infrastructure, power/energy management, and industrial automation.

This role will involve designing and developing wiring harness systems, including schematic creation, harness architecture, panel layout, developing specifications, selecting key components, and transitioning design to manufacturing. Furthermore, the position includes leading test process implementation and ensuring equipment alignment to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and reliability.

What will you do?

• Define and own the control system architecture across multiple platforms, including PLCs, BMS, EPMS, and ATS systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop detailed control system specifications, functional design documents, and interface definitions for all subsystems.
• Proficiency in PLC/SCADA programming, HMI development, and system integration with IT networks and facility equipment.
• Ability to read and create BOMs. visual aids, electrical schematics, control diagrams, and sequence of operations.
• Define control logic, sensor integration, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, SNMP) for intelligent power and cooling management.
• Validate control systems through simulation, testing, and commissioning to ensure reliability, safety, and responsiveness.
• Experience with critical infrastructure systems: UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, fire suppression systems.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for new projects and revisions.
• Drive the development of system-level simulations and digital twins to validate control strategies before deployment
• Architect integration strategies for control systems with enterprise platforms such as SCADA, CMMS, and cloud-based monitoring tools
• Establish design patterns and best practices for modular and reusable control logic across projects
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex control system issues during commissioning and operations
• Evaluate emerging technologies and automation trends to continuously improve system performance and efficiency
• Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, control logic, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and facilities engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with physical infrastructure
• Work closely with cross functional teams to align control system designs with business requirements, timelines, and operational constraints
• Facilitate design reviews, technical workshops, and cross-functional planning sessions to ensure alignment and transparency across engineering disciplines
• Support commissioning and field teams during deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization of control systems

How will you get here?

Education : 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.

Experience :  

• 8+ years pf experience in control system design and implementation
• Deep expertise in the following:
  • PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric)
  • Building Management Systems (BMS) integration and optimization
  • Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS/EDPM) for real-time energy analytics
  • Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) control and failover logic
• Strong proficiency in control theory, system modeling, and simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink)
• Experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, BACnet, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP)
• Familiarity with NFPA, IEC, and ISO standards related to control systems and safety.

The Senior SharePoint Architect serves as the lead technical authority responsible for the planning, architecture, engineering, and modernization of DISA J6's SharePoint and Dynamics CRM platforms. This role supports both Platform Services and Operations and Maintenance Service Delivery, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to DISA's enterprise technology roadmap and cloud transition goals. The Sr. SharePoint Architect designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Identifies, assesses, and presents options for meeting the functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades. Responsible for developing high level system design diagrams. How You'll Contribute:

A Media Sr Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for the scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction of a project throughout its entire lifecycle, from Initiation through Closing phases. However, the PM depends on the help of other people to perform most of the actual activities of the project. A project manager's role is primarily focused around written and verbal communication to all project stakeholders. The PM is responsible for overseeing and performing project management functions on all Broadcast projects, budgets, and scopes. The SPM will act as the person responsible for their assigned projects and have direct control over all project activities. Daily activities include project communications, scheduling, task lists for team participants, managing deliverables from the consulting team, and overseeing the completion of projects. The PM is responsible for completing consulting projects on time, on budget and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction from our customers. Most of this employee's time will be spent managing projects and communicating with all project stakeholders. This person will be helping to constantly improve the established Diversified processes. • Advanced expertise in program, portfolio, and PMO leadership, including framework design, governance models, and delivery maturity assessments (e.g., PMI, PMO, Agile/Hybrid environments).
• Strong command of program operations, including financial management, forecasting, risk and issue management, resource optimization, and executive reporting.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex life sciences and health IT programs supporting clinical research, bioinformatics, public health, biomedical informatics, and regulated data environments.
• Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior leaders, advise clients, and align cross-functional teams around shared outcomes.
• Proven problem-solving and systems-thinking capabilities, with a track record of driving process improvement, operational scalability, and organizational maturity.

Required Areas of Focus:

Program Management Leadership

• Own and evolve client-facing program and project roadmaps, ensuring alignment with mission goals, regulatory requirements, funding constraints, and delivery capacity
• Contribute to standardized BD-to-Delivery transition processes, ensuring early engagement, clarity of scope, staffing, budgets, timelines, and accountability prior to execution.
• Ensure consistent contract execution through disciplined tracking of deliverables, milestones, financials, and performance metrics, including CPAR inputs and self-assessments.
• Design, maintain, and continuously improve enterprise delivery dashboards, providing visibility into:

  • Key milestones and outcomes

Contract performance and quality metrics

• Establish and enforce a structured reporting cadence to support proactive leadership engagement and timely decision-making:

  • Monthly: Portfolio performance and financial reviews
  • Quarterly: Strategic outlook, risk posture, and growth alignment

• Serve as a senior client relationship leader, cultivating trusted partnerships and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance delivery value and expand engagements.

Financial & Resource Management

• Partner with leadership teams to define, manage, and optimize portfolio, program, and project-level budgets.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive resource capability matrix capturing skills, certifications, experience, performance insights, and availability.
• Optimize workforce utilization by aligning staffing decisions with delivery needs, staff development goals, and long-term organizational strategy.
• Lead and support staff transitions, onboarding, promotions, and role changes with minimal delivery disruption.
• Drive training and capability development strategies aligned to SOPs, industry standards, and evolving client needs.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Act as a senior liaison between executive leadership, program teams, and client stakeholders.
• Strengthen client partnerships through structured feedback mechanisms, contract / project performance reviews, and strategic planning engagements to support change agility and account growth.
• Enable cross-division collaboration to ensure integrated delivery and shared accountability.
• Communicate performance, risks, and opportunities through clear dashboards, briefings, and executive presentations.

Advisory & Consultation

• Provide strategic advisory services to internal and external stakeholders navigating complex program and project and delivery challenges.
• Translate technical, business domain, and operational concepts into actionable strategies that enable informed decision-making.
• Serve as a trusted advisor supporting both delivery excellence and organizational growth.

• Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a scientific, health, or program management discipline preferred. PMP or equivalent certification desired.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior program strategy and delivery leadership roles across federal, academic, and private-sector environments.
• Program Leadership: Extensive experience program management, PMO leadership, governance, financial management, and large-scale delivery enablement.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong background in life sciences, clinical research, bioinformatics, health informatics, and public health.
• Leadership & Business Acumen: Proven ability to lead distributed teams, manage complex stakeholder environments, and influence at the executive level.
• Business Development: Demonstrated success supporting client growth, solution design, and consulting delivery models.
• Federal Health IT Experience: Experience supporting HHS, NIH, NCI, or similar agencies strongly preferred.
