Seeking a Operations Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes. Oversees day-to-day activities with Engineering team, Production staffing and performance of manufacturing processes. May also act as backup to the Production Manager in their absence.
Duties:

Process Management
Responsible for all internal and external Heat Treating operations, Plating Lines, Plating Lab, Environmental Control and all Surface Finish processes.
Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements and workflow, layout, tooling, and installation of new equipment and fixtures.
Confers with planning and Production Control concerning available capacity to ensure efficient production flow.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively as they occur in the manufacturing processes.
Estimates and communicates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs for management decisions.
Notifies and advises stakeholders of production problems or potential concerns.
Conducts 'make/buy' decisions on processing (such as heat treat) based on capabilities, cost, and capacity.
Determine which quantities of which parts will be outsourced to approved suppliers.
Drives regular meetings with outside suppliers to review capacity, quality, and deliveries.
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods in area of responsibility (AOR).
Ensure all process-centric projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsible for researching new technology for AOR directly and through Supervisors and Engineers.
Leadership
Drives a culture of continuous improvement for safety, quality, productivity, and work environment.
Leads and attends meetings for assigned projects.

Summary
The Innovation Program Analyst helps turn new ideas into successful products by combining analytical business case development with structured innovation program coordination. The Role

- Develop detailed Improvement Plans that effectively prioritize facility upgrades and renovations based on assessment data and program priorities
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams to integrate assessment results into conceptual design for cost estimation and scheduling team members
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licenced PE with significant experience in facility assessments
- 10-15 years of industry experience
- Proven track record of managing assessments for public agencies or governmental organizations
- Familiarity with NYS OGS procedures a significant plus
- Strong knowledge of building systems and construction methodologies, with experience evaluating diverse facility types
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences
- A detailed-oriented mindset committed to accuracy and precision in assessment methodologies and reporting
- Knowledge of Uniformat Group II classifications system a plus

Responsibilities
- Ability to lead a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway design, zoning analysis, site plan preparation, site storm-water management, utility planning and layout, transportation planning/design, parking analysis and layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis, pavement and grading design, and site utility replacement.
- Lead coordination and presentation of submissions with local municipalities, utilities, environmental agencies, and town/county planning boards. Perform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions.Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings, specifications, and bid packages.Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and lead the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering services.Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects.Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction. Pro-actively engage with existing clients and pursue new clients to support growth of the business in the region across LiRo’s service lines.Lead the preparation of technical content for proposals for civil engineering services.Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm.Supervise, mentor, and develop local engineering staff.Perform monthly and quarterly updates of project financials and revenue projections.
Qualifications
