Position Overview:
Seeking an Experienced Product Lifecycle Process Engineer to support the installation and validation of loadable software on aircraft and in lab or production environments. This role collaborates with Design Engineers and Production Engineers to ensure procedures meet hardware/software requirements and safety standards, and to deliver clear, repeatable loading procedures, robust troubleshooting, and up-to-date user guides. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on Airplane Systems experience, strong technical writing skills, and a commitment to operational reliability .
Primary Responsibilities:
Install loadable software on aircraft platforms and bench test environments in accordance with approved procedures.
Develop clear, step-by-step loading procedures and instructions for both on-aircraft and bench scenarios.
Collaborate closely with Design Engineers for each system to ensure loading procedures align with hardware/software requirements and safety standards.
Validate and verify loading procedures through testing, design reviews, and field trials; capture results and implement improvements.
Maintain and update user guides, procedure documents, and training materials as software and hardware evolve.
Troubleshoot loading issues, document root causes, perform corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.
Ensure compatibility with regulatory, airline-specific safety, security, and reliability requirements.
Provide training materials or sessions for technicians and engineers as needed; lead or participate in hands-on training.
Maintain change control, versioning, and traceability for all loading procedures.
Contribute to risk assessments and safety analyses related to software loading activities.
Support incident investigations related to loading activities and implement preventive actions.
Ensure proper documentation and alignment software integrity practices where applicable.

Base salary for this position will be $18,423 per month ($221,079 per annum) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determination and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) provides eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization. Other compensation associated with this position includes a minimum guaranteed incentive for the first two years of $13,000 per quarter ($52,000 per annum) through UW Physicians. Physicians would be appointed as Clinical Instructors at the UW School of Medicine. Clinical Instructors hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Qualifications
Candidates must have earned an MD or DO, or foreign equivalent, completed residency, and should be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine. Candidates will need to possess or obtain a valid Washington State medical license and DEA cert.

Primary responsibilities:
- Provides technical guidance and training relative to complex safety and airworthiness matters
- Coordinate with engineering teams, project administrators, and regulators (may include international regulators/validation authorities) to successfully certify projects for commercial aircraft production teams
- Review certification plans, write letters to regulators, and understand compliance process
- Leading cross-functional teams resulting in resolution of technical issues.
- Coordinate technical messaging and partnering with the FAA on regulatory issues
- Own, manage, and have/develop technical aptitude to enable execution of process/procedure documents (BPM, BPIs, D6s, D950s, etc.)
- Ensure proper coordination across products, platforms and functional areas to promote culture of compliance to requirements and application of procedures and FAA guidance
- Develop strategic action plans for changes to certification processes and execute those plans through completion
- Contribute to root cause corrective action plans for development and execution of noncompliance’s, voluntary disclosures, informal corrective actions, formal corrective actions, etc. including reviewing/researching processes, design practices, analysis, conducting root cause analysis, and identifying/owning corrective actions and corrective action plans
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience working directly with the FAA and/or ODA on Type Certification projects
- 5+ years of experience in developing, contributing and/or maintaining processes, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with project management and self-managing projects.
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment and ability to interact well with various levels of leadership and front-line employees
- Ability to accomplish goals on a self-directed basis
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Senior Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) Engineer (Level 5) to join our team in Everett, Washington.
Position Overview:
The selected individuals will work within Boeing organizations and interface with suppliers to oversee development of Application Specific Integrated Circuits, Field Programmable Gate Arrays and Programmable Logic Device changes, ensure application of best industry and Boeing requirements and assure compliance with regulatory requirements. Engineers applying for this position must understand RTCA/DO-254 and the relationship between complex electronics. Highly desired are engineers with recent experience showing or finding compliance for airborne electronic hardware.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee and guide teams with airborne electronic hardware devices in development of airplane systems.
Provide either showing of compliance or assisting in finding of compliance roles in accordance with FAA regulations associated with Airborne Electronic Hardware development.
Provide direction to suppliers to improve their performance to contractual requirements (quality, delivery, cost, technical, safety, communication, etc.).
Support audits and design reviews.
Evaluate risks and opportunities; assist suppliers in implementing risk mitigation plans.
Work with internal and external resources, utilizing tools, processes and methods to enhance supplier performance to meet customer and program requirements.
