As a Civil Rights Litigation Associate Attorney, you will be an integral part of our dedicated legal team, representing governmental entities in federal and state courts in matters related to civil rights. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert legal counsel, conduct litigation, and advocate on behalf of our clients to ensure the protection of civil rights and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position is based in our Northbrook or Springfield, IL office.

As an integral part of our team, you will have the opportunity to:

• Represent governmental entities in federal and state courts in Civil Rights Litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.
• Draft and file legal documents, argue substantive motions, and take and defend depositions.
• Prepare and assist in trial proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Engage in settlement negotiations when appropriate.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on civil rights issues.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Illinois State Bar.
• 2-10 years of experience handling Civil Rights Litigation matters in both federal and state courts.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel within the state of Illinois as required.

They are seeking a Senior Environmental Auditor to lead ISO 14001 audits, support environmental compliance, and drive continuous improvement across multiple U.S. manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ISO 14001 environmental audits across multiple U.S. sites
• Identify compliance gaps and improvement opportunities in accordance with ISO 19011
• Present audit findings and track corrective actions to completion
• Maintain and update Environmental Management System (EMS) documentation
• Support facilities with environmental regulatory compliance (federal, state, local)
• Analyze audit trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with external audits, certification renewals, and environmental risk assessments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field

The Certification Test Development Specialist will assist with operational examination development related to psychometrics, interactions with SMEs, item development and review workshops, examination building, and quality assurance of exams. Identify and communicate defects in processes and work towards continual improvement of the Examination Development process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Examination Development

• Under the oversight of the Psychometrician produce technical documentation related to item, test, and program performance.
• Design, construct, and test IPC branded examinations; assure accuracy and quality of finished product.
• Troubleshoot software and operational problems.
• Recruit and grow a pool of SMEs to participate in Certification Committees.
• Oversee the entire Item Writing Development process with the respective Certification Committees with assistance from the Psychometrician.
• Ensure exam content aligns with test plans, job/task analyses, and applicable regulations.
• Assist with exam form assembly, item banking, and content tracking.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Examination Maintenance

• Quality Assurance Validation for Certification content.
• Review Certification exams for consistency with source files.
• Document and escalate deviations in client exams with source files.
• Audit tests for typographical errors, formatting errors, internal inconsistencies, and other quality problems, and clearly communicate quality issues.
• Oversee the entire Item Review process with the with the respective Certification Committees with minimal assistance from the Psychometrician.
• Support exam lifecycle activities, including updates, refreshes, and retirement of items.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years' experience managing all aspects of Item Writing Workshops and Item Review Committees.
• Knowledge of psychometric principles or standardized testing best practices.
• Excellent technical writing, proofreading, English language, and editing skills. Exams are written in English.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously, often under time constraints and to follow instructions carefully and thoroughly.
• Attention to detail is imperative; Must be organized, accurate, and quality conscious.
• Must be honest and maintain high-level ethical behavior; ability to maintain data confidentiality and security.
• Experience in areas of forecasting and prioritizing assigned tasks preferred.
• Flexibility related to workflow and changing priorities required.
• Able to follow directions, coordinate multiple projects, including producing high quality work under tight deadlines. Must also be willing to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Strong written/oral communication skills required. Comfort with email and telephone communications is essential to effectively interact with staff, contractors and committee members virtually.
• Must be able to work with people from various knowledge levels, personalities, economic and cultural backgrounds.
• Bachelor's degree required (education, psychology, assessment, or related field preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 – Teams, Excel, Word.

• No history of pregnancy complications (including gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, or pre-term labor)
• No history of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, or major depressive disorder
• Not currently taking medications unsafe for pregnancy (including certain mental health medications)
• Able to travel for medical screening, monitoring, and embryo transfer appointments
• Live a healthy lifestyle free of illicit or recreational drug use
• Have a stable home environment and strong support system

Compensation & Benefits

We recognize the commitment, time, and care involved in being a gestational carrier. Compensation includes:

Base Compensation

• $60,000 – $70,000(First-time carrier to experienced carrier)

Additional Benefits

• $250 monthly expense allowance
• $500 maternity clothing allowance
• $10,500 for multiple birth
• Up to $10,000 for loss of organs (per contract terms)
• Lost wages (carrier and spouse, if applicable — based on employment verification)

• $200 per week for housekeeping (if medically necessary)
