About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented BIM Coordinator/CAD Drafter to join our Ames office and support our engineering team across a variety of building systems projects.
Responsibilities
- You'll be responsible for setting up and maintaining Revit project models.
- Enforcing BIM standards and workflows.
- Coordinating drawing production and printing.
- Supporting quality control through all project phases.
- Day-to-day work includes project file setup using established checklists.
- Model maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordination with project engineers.
- Supporting construction administration documentation.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of CAD/BIM drafting experience in a construction, engineering, or architecture environment.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD and BIM 360 is a plus.
Required Skills
- You should be organized, process-minded, and comfortable working across multiple active projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- MEP drafting experience is preferred but not required — we'll invest in the right person.

What you'll do
- You plan your day, set priorities, and work with your team to keep freight moving safely and on time. You communicate clearly, solve problems as they come up, and adapt to changes on the road or in the plan.
- You handle all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately and follow all DOT, state, and company guidelines.
- You safely operate your tractor-trailer, inspecting it before, during, and after each trip to keep it in top shape.
- You will run optimized routes by following traffic laws and local restrictions—reducing delays and improving on-time delivery performance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License with Hazmat endorsement (including cleared background check) or will obtain HAZMAT endorsement (with cleared background check) within 120 calendar days of date of hire.
- Minimum of 30 months (2.5 years) experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years (36 months).

Drivers are paid a fixed rate for each mile driven, with additional pay for certain activities. For some activities drivers receive the mileage rate plus activity pay. For other activities they receive only activity pay. Drivers also receive Average Daily Pay (ADP) in certain circumstances.

Drivers may be eligible to receive Average Day’s Pay (ADP) for circumstances such as to calculate paid time off (PTO), safety day, holiday, deferred holiday, bereavement, and jury duty. Drivers will be paid a full ADP even if the driver performs no driving duties following the event. The Role at a Glance:
This position oversees the Iowa region and is fully remote. To support travel and training requirements, we strongly prefer candidates who live in Iowa.
As a key member of the farm team, the Poultry Field Technician will be responsible for day to day communications with the farmers, weekly/by-weekly onsite service visits, overall heath and performance of Pete and Gerry’s owned layers and pullets, assure all standards are understood and adhered to by each farmer, be on site for any third party audits, communicating on farm bird health/egg quality/compliance deficiencies up the command chain, and assuring that necessary paperwork is in place for any bird movement.
How You’ll Create Greater Impact:
In this role, you’ll help deliver the highest quality product while upholding our unwavering commitment to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. You’ll act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and partner with teammates and customers to deliver wins.
- Work with the farmers within the appropriate region to ensure that they know, understand, and are implementing all standards of care for free range, and pastured raised egg laying hens.
- Conduct weekly/Biweekly on-farm service visits to ensure bird health, optimum efficiency, and egg quality
- Ensure that the farmers have all documentation required by HFAC, Whole Foods Market, FDA, and USDA Organic, or any other third-party certifier.
- Communicate non-conformances to both the farmers and the Live Production Manager for swift and precise correction
- Ensure that the farmers are aware of any egg type changes, are tagging properly, and have the supplies to do so.
- Work with local veterinarians, and state officials to schedule AI surveillance testing for the sale of spent fowl.
- Assist the Live Production Manager in new farm construction projects where appropriate, or any other Pete and Gerry's related items that require assistance.
