Midlands Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery is the only private practice physician group providing neurosurgical, orthopaedic and pain management services in the Midlands of South Carolina. We are focused on growing our neurosurgical spine program with a particular emphasis on the ASC setting.

To date, we have performed over 1,500 advanced outpatient spine procedures to include lumbar fusion in our ASC. Overnight stay is available as well as interoperative neuro-navigation capabilities to facilitate the most advanced, minimally-invasive ASC spine surgery options. Efficiency is enhanced by top-notch OR teams.

We strive to be a low-cost leader while also excelling in innovation and quality as evidenced by the ASC’s designation as a Blue Distinction+ Center for Spine Surgery. As a result, our practice has become a destination for many out-of-state patients. We are well-positioned to leverage the dramatic and rapid shift to ASCs as health care purchasers nationally recognize the value of ASC surgery.

Centrally located in the capital city of South Carolina, we serve a large number of state and local government employees, the University of South Carolina as well as numerous strong private employers drawing from a referral area of approximately 850,000 people.
