The position also includes the opportunity to teach medical students and to be involved with expanding the field of Family Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine’s Phoenix campus. The position requires direct patient care, resident, and medical student teaching, precepting, curriculum development in addition to administrative and scholarly activities in compliance with ACGME requirements. Academic:

Clinical responsibilities will include providing medical and surgical care to pediatric and adolescent gynecology patients. Our clinic serves youth age birth to 24 years of age in the general clinic and we also staff an adult clinic for individuals with special needs or complex medical histories who are better served in a pediatric environment. The candidate would also be involved in a multidisciplinary clinic for reproductive tract anomalies.
The primary PAG clinic is on the main campus of Phoenix Children’s. The PAG Division also currently serves the East and West Valley. The candidate will provide care on the main campus and will be expected to staff a satellite clinic 1-2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN.
  • Candidates who have completed a Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Fellowship are preferred, however candidates with significant clinical experience who have not completed a fellowship will be considered.

Requirements:
· Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
· Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
· Eligibility for board certification
· Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship
· Completion of a training program in thoracic surgery
· Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis)
· U.S. citizenship
