Qualifications:
1. They must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.

2. They must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or

3. They must have a Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or

4. They must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.

5. The qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.

Both hospitals have non-invasive cardiology departments, offering EKG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, nuclear stress testing, ICUs, and cardiac telemetry.

Both hospitals offer cardiac catheterization and Charlton Memorial does coronary interventions, electrophysiology, open heart surgery, and TAVR procedures.

Each hospital team includes a cardiac nurse practitioner.

The position will be scheduled 7-on and 7-off, alternate weeks being covered by the other 6 cardiologists.

J-1 or H-1B candidates are eligible to work at one of our two facilities, which qualifies for a "visa waiver" due to the population of patients it regularly serves.

The successful candidate would see consults in the CCU, on the floors, and in the Emergency Department and should be qualified to interpret EKG, Holter, echocardiograms, and cardiac stress tests.

Duties may require placement of temporary pacing wires, management of CHF, dysrhythmias, acute myocardial infarctions, and acutely-ill cardiac patients.

Patients are generally admitted and discharged by our Hospitalist team.
