Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL

• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team! This position is located in Bayport, Minnesota.

Duties:

• Develop product design solutions by closely collaborating with product engineers
• Generate 3-D CAD models to capture and communicate the design intent
• Update product engineering documentation to represent red-line changes aligning to the corporate standards, procedures and best practices
• Act as the team CAD application and PLM process expert
• Identify and schedule deliverables, milestones, and tasks and monitor project progress and take action to achieve timelines

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Completed Associate's Degree
• 3+ years of experience
• Proficient 3D solid modeling CAD skills
• Working knowledge of a Product Data Management systems
• Working knowledge of material characteristics and tooling concepts influencing design requirements
• Tolerance and Datum Familiarity
• Process specific design familiarity: injection molding, extrusion, milling, etc.
