Pay Rate: $17.50/Hour

• Six Flags provides & pays for all certification training. 
• Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our water slides.
• Will complete and maintain Ellis and Associates training and certification.
• Pass certification tests with 100% accuracy.

• Must be able to pass pre-requisite skills: Swim a distance of 50 yards, retrieve a 10lb brick from a depth of 5ft, and swim a distance of 10 feet underwater for Shallow Water License.

Job Summary: The Emergency Medical Technician will provide medical care to our employees and guests. Maintain a safe environment and project positive Public Relations. Abide by and enforce all rules, regulations, and policies established by the Management of the Company with respect to the Laws of Local, State and Federal Government.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to our Employees and Guests.
• Provide Emergency transportation for Employees and Guests as needed.
• Maintain all equipment and facilities of the Medical Division.
• Maintain and properly secure all medical records. Including in-putting all incidents in the computer.
• Conduct "Safety Inspections" throughout the Park(s) as requested by the Safety Manager.

The Ideal Candidate Must Possess :

• Must be 18 years of age  and have a  VALID Drivers License
• Must be an  Active NJ, NY, PA State or Nationally Certified EMT, with current certifications including CPR.
• Must be able to read and write legibly, and understand all medical terms and have understanding of computer in-put programs.
• Ability to maintain composure and treat guest(s) or employee(s) on a one-to-one treatment environment.
• Ability to perform EMT care inclusive of Lifting Adult individuals onto and off of stretchers with the assistance of only one other person. (Approx. 100 lbs.)

Organize, train and oversee technical staff in order to implement established maintenance, inspection and operational procedures. Must have proven skills in problem-solving and team building. Be able to schedule work, repair, and maintain machines, equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and consistent operation according to the manufacturer's requirements.

Must be knowledgeable and have basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems including (but not limited to) the following areas:

• Manage union team members and oversee various jobs and projects.
  • Monitor communication methods for additional work assignments, upcoming events, and internal communications.
  • Ability to understand mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
  • Understanding of Building construction plans.
  • Identify suppliers for replacement parts, obtain competitive bids, and enter purchase requisitions.
  • Use test data and electrical schematics to troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.
  • Make recommendations regarding the need for modification to maintenance procedures, test procedures, instrumentation or setup based upon test results and machine operational performance.
  • Work in co-operation with engineering, technical and management or outside personnel.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records in order to perform effective preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain good Maintenance standards to ensure buildings, grounds and attractions are safe and visually in compliance.
  • Have the ability to plan, organize and train a maintenance team for a large Theme park, Safari, and waterpark.
  • Must have the ability to train safety, OSHA and protocol information to large groups and document the trainings.
  • Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders repeatedly, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and work overhead using both hands.

Baristas will provide excellent Guest experience while preparing freshly brewed coffees, teas and cold beverages.

Pay Rate: $8.00/Hour plus Tips

• Greet Guests with an enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.
• Prepare brewed coffee, hot tea, and other cold beverages.
• Handle and prepare pastries and other food items.
• Knowledge and usage of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Be able to multitask and handle occasional high volume traffic.
• Maintain a neat and safe workspace.
• Be knowledgeable of menu items and be able to answer any Guest questions.
• Be knowledgeable of menu recipes to cater to any dietary restrictions or allergies.
• Ensure that the Guest experience is met with Friendly, Speedy and Accurate service, while resolving issues when necessary.
• Enforce proper food preparation and handling procedures, in compliance with all Health Department and Food and Beverage Operation policies regarding sanitation.
• Ensure the safety of all team members and Guests.
• Comply with all Six Flags policies at all times.

• Must be willing to work 40-60 hours per week, including before and after scheduled shifts if necessary and on weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

• Excellent time management skills along with the ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks.

Job Summary: The Emergency Services Coordinator will inspect and audit all Safety regulatory compliance for the entire Six Flags property. They will also participate in Fire Protection and assist the EMS team when necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to fire-related calls for service as part of the Fire Brigade
• Conduct and record safety audits and inspections regularly throughout the Six Flags Great Adventure properties
• Conduct safety inspections before or during projects to analyze safety risks
• Educate employees on safety standards and procedures
• Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace
• Investigate accidents that occur onsite and identify possible causes of the accident
• Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents, and related events
• Act as a liaison between the Park and external partners, such as fire and EMS agencies
• Maintain all Safety Department equipment and facilities
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist as needed
• Complete any task assigned by the Emergency Services Supervisor, Public Safety Supervisor, or Public Safety Manager

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid driver's license at all times
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• NJ Firefighter 1 Certified
• ICS 100 (Introduction to ICS)
• ICS 200.c (ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents) *Must be in-person
• IS-700 (National Incident Management System)
• IS-800 (National Response Framework)
• Current EMT-B Certification (NJ State or Nationally Certified)
• Current and Valid CPR Certification.
