• Performs non-medicated support tasks, including oral suctioning, enema, catheterization and foley catheter removal, drain maintenance, and basic wound care. Increases variety and difficulty of tasks as competency is verified through nursing program.
• Obtains or assists in the collection of specimens for diagnostic or waived tests. Ensures accuracy of all labels and timely transfer of specimen.
• Retrieves medication from pharmacy, storage room, or tube system and delivers to licensed staff member as instructed.
• Assists with patient preparation for surgery or other procedure.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living to include eating and drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination. Changes bed linens as needed.
• Performs hourly rounding and responds promptly to call lights and patient requests. Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
• Follows patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.
• Prepares and maintains clean, hazard-free patient rooms. Empties trash and removes soiled linens.
• Assists with patient/family/caregiver learning needs, abilities and readiness to learn. Identifies barriers to learning, such as language or culture. Integrates this information into the patient’s plan of care.
• Translates complex medical terminology to ensure patients/families/caregivers understand patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures.

Job Summary
The Payroll Administrator position will be responsible for multi-state payroll administration based out of our San Antonio manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is a detailed and deadline-oriented individual who excels in both the technical and customer service aspects of payroll. This position will report to the Director of Finance.

This is a hybrid role based out of our office in San Antonio, TX (Windcrest area)
Job Responsibilities
To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
- Responsible for all aspects of payroll administration for a defined group of employees, including data entry, reconciliations, tax statuses and adjustments.
- Execute weekly payroll preparation and distribution of the organization's multi-state payroll in accordance with regulations and company policy, using UKG Ready.
- Coordinate the timely and accurate periodic, quarterly and year-end tax filings with third party vendor, including T-4s.
- Receive, enter, answer, and maintain (including filing) garnishments in accordance with federal and state requirements.
- Process VOE (Verification of Employment).
- Review/Approve employee self-service changes via UKG Ready.
- Reconciles general ledger accounts.
- Commission payment calculations.
- Coordinate annual W-2 processing.
- Create and run reports using UKG Ready and BI Reports.
- Stay abreast of current payroll laws and changes and ensure processes and policies follow these rules.
- Support ERP and technology upgrade projects related to payroll as required.
- Perform ad hoc analysis.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working as a Payroll Admin/Analyst or related
- Must possess a solid understanding of multi-state payroll practices
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Report writing skills preferred, but not required
- PC proficiency (specifically Microsoft applications) required
- Self-directed and motivated to success and exceed expectations
- High school diploma or equivalent – college degree preferred
- Experience with UKG software preferred
- Strong attention to detail, producing high-quality products and meeting deadlines
- FPC/CPP Certification preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus
