Hospitalist (Internal Medicine)

About this role:
We are searching for collaborative hospitalists to join an inpatient team rotating at hospitals throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
This position includes a $15,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance (determined by distance), and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually based on meeting quality goals, thoughtful stewardship of our healthcare system, and achieving high standards in performance reviews as they relate to citizenship.
This is a unique opportunity to provide direct inpatient care with the assistance of a nurse coordinator and participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to internal medicine residents and medical students.
As a 501c3 organization, our caregivers are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, a quaternary care academic hospital. You will also practice at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT, and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, which are 2 of the valley's community hospitals.
While this is classified as a day shift opportunity, a balance of swing and night shifts will also be necessary though the majority of nights will be staffed by Nocturnists.

About this role:
As a nocturnist physician in Tele-Critical Care Medicine, you will work in the growing telehealth field as an equal member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients. Tele Critical Care covers Intermountain community hospitals, and non-Intermountain hospitals in the Intermountain West, with remote 24/7/365 critical care coverage and consultation for patients in ICUs not staffed by a critical care physician.
In this role you can anticipate:
A remote practice model with the option to work on-site at the Telehealth Hospital in Murray, Utah
1680 annual nocturnist hours (1.0 FTE)
Scheduled hours of 7:00 p.m to 7:30 a.m.
No call expectation

- You’ll have at least two dedicated block days of surgery and two clinic days per week

Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques, and files claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.May assist pharmacist in administering clinical services including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other clinical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of clinical services, Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.Assists Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing and maintaining good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other health care providers, by medical provider detailing and outreach to health groups, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for enhancing growth opportunities.Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat and orderly in condition and appearance.Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.Training & Personal DevelopmentEarns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration.
Otherwise, earns PTCB certification as condition of promotion to senior technician.Attends training requested by Manager and acquires continuing education credits.
Maintains knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments.Basic QualificationsMust be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities- Serve as the primary contact for commercial clients, delivering responsive service on coverage, billing, policy changes, certificates, and claims while ensuring high satisfaction and supporting Producers in retention, onboarding, and cross-sell efforts
- Lead the full renewal cycle (data gathering, submissions, proposals, and negotiations), identify coverage enhancements, and manage all policy administration tasksincluding endorsements, certificates, cancellations, and AMS documentationin alignment with agency standards
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers/wholesalers, secure competitive terms, support clients through the claims process, and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, compliance requirements, and internal quality-control procedures
- 3+ years of Commercial P&C experience preferred; active P&C license (or ability to obtain quickly); strong knowledge of core commercial lines (GL, Property, Auto, WC, Umbrella) with familiarity in Professional/Specialty lines a plus
- Proficiency with agency management systems (EPIC preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines independently; high integrity, a client-first mindset, and strong problem-solving skills
