Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical dermatology experience and be proficient in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of medical, surgical, and (optional) cosmetic dermatologic conditions. You?ll be working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough skin assessments and patient evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancer, and infections.
- Perform dermatologic procedures such as skin biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, I&Ds, and electrosurgery.
- Provide cosmetic treatments such as neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Counsel patients on skincare, sun protection, and ongoing care.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR.
- Work collaboratively with supervising dermatologists and other clinical team members.
- Stay current with dermatology best practices, treatments, and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in CA
- Minimum of 2 years of dermatology-specific clinical experience required
- Strong procedural dermatology skills (medical dermatology required; surgical and cosmetic skills a plus)
- Comfortable managing a high-volume patient load independently

RESPONSIBILITIES
What You Can Expect Day-to-Day
