We are seeking an experienced RN leader for a Director of Case Management opportunity at a large, high-volume acute care hospital in the Bradenton, FL area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, results-driven leader to oversee a well-established Case Management and Social Work department within a 383-bed Level II Trauma facility.


Position Overview

The Director of Case Management is responsible for overall leadership, coordination, and operational performance of the department. This executive-level leader ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory agencies, and industry standards while optimizing patient care coordination and discharge planning processes.

This individual partners closely with executive leadership, including the Division Director of Case Management and CFO, and serves as a key driver for Length of Stay (LOS) management, care coordination excellence, and clinical resource utilization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and evaluate all case management department operations
  • Oversee staffing models, skill mix, FTE allocation, onboarding, and competencies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
  • Lead care coordination and discharge planning processes
  • Improve LOS performance and optimize resource utilization
  • Analyze operational metrics and implement sustainable improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with CMO, CNO, ancillary service leaders, Compliance, and Legal

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Scholarly Programs and Education is responsible for shaping and helping to lead the overall research identity and multi-year research agenda of the Elling Eide Center in Sarasota, Florida.


We are seeking a rare individual to help us advance our approach to scholarship that provides students and scholars with unique opportunities to address critical questions that advance knowledge in fields connected to the Center’s mission. The successful candidate’s research and program interests will enable them to lead scholarly programs focused on Elling Eide’s own strong interests in sinology and ecology, as well as the pre-history and languages of the Native American people who once lived on our preserve. We seek a director who can strengthen the Center’s goal of making broad contributions to human knowledge.


To achieve so ambitious a mandate over the next five to ten years, this role will likely need to grow a whole education department and at first will coordinate the work of others more than produce original research. HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 380+ bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation. We are a recipient of the American Heart Association’s Gold Fit Friendly Designation. We have an onsite day care program, Happy Cubs, a 24 hour employee fitness center and a healthy work environment.
