• Will clean and dry worn costume pieces and put them in their proper place at the end of the night.

• Fix minor repairs on costumes as needed.
• Assist with smooth operation of Show Wardrobe including handing out costumes and helping with minor sewing.

The Public Safety Security & Loss Prevention Internship Program offers students and aspiring professionals hands-on experience in security operations, guest safety, and asset protection within a dynamic environment. Interns will work alongside seasoned professionals to develop practical skills in surveillance, incident response, and theft prevention while gaining insight into the operational aspects of a large-scale facility.
Responsibilities:

• Consistent attendance and adherence to the posted schedule is a job requirement. Includes attendance of Park Discovery training, Security department training, and Security in-service training.
• Must meet all Human Resources requirements for internship program, including attendance of intern events/meetings.
• Maintain Park grooming and appearance standards in accordance with policies set forth by the Human Resources department. Maintain department uniform guidelines in accordance with policies set forth by the Security department.
• Interact with guests, team members, and Park management on a daily basis. Work with a diverse team and cooperate with all team members and Park management.

Ride Operators ensure our guests have a fun and safe experience on our wide-variety of Rides.

• Attend required Human Resources Discovery, Rides Department training, and specific ride training.
• Adhere to Six Flags Standards of Appearance and Attendance policy as stated in the Six Flags Handbook.
• Provide courteous greetings and answer any Guest questions. Respond to and resolve Guest comments whenever possible.
• Ensure Guest safety and satisfaction during their visit.
• Enforce all rider restrictions including monitoring and measuring for height requirements.
• Assist with pairing up of single riders and proper grouping techniques to ensure greater capacity.
• Take hourly throughput readings.

The Entertainment Event Technician Internship position is responsible to suport the technical aspects of live events and performances

• Work with Entertainment Management on the execution of a season-long project that will be assigned during department onboarding.
• Operate and maintain technical support on equipment associated with a specific production in the manner designed and set by the production staff.
• Perform all shows on time and as designed by Entertainment Management.
• Execute cue and show specific job duties as set by the Production Staff and Entertainment Management. The performance will not vary from the direction set during the production period throughout the course of the show's run.
• Be involved in the rehearsal and operation of your respective productions under the direction of the Production Staff.
• Navigate in, on, or around scenic elements associated with specific production in potentially dark and restrictive spaces.
• Required to climb ladders and work at heights in excess of 35 feet and lift more than 50 pounds.

This position is responsible for daily inspections and repair of fiberglass, padding, seatbelts, etc. on the park rides and the fiberglass, padding, netting, etc. on the water park attractions

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Access all areas of equipment and ride structures for inspection and maintenance
• Mixing and application of fiberglass resins, sanding, trimming, etc. to make a finished product
• Cut out and sew patters for ride seats
• Perform upholstery work; seat belt fabrication and installation
• Perform daily safety checks on all rides when park is in operation
• Proper handling of chemical and waste material
• Keep a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance utilizing Maximo system
• Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as required
• Support the company mantra of friendly, clean, fast and safe service

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of one year experience in body/fiberglass repair
• Must possess mechanical aptitude
• Experience in spray painting, bodywork environment, and some fiberglass experience preferred
• Must be able to work at various heights including in excess of 150 feet
• Must be capable of climbing ladders, scaffolding, buildings and ride structures
• Must possess strong safety sensitivity
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent as well as additional training or background in fiberglass repair and body work

• Perform routine repair and maintenance of plumbing systems, including fire systems, irrigation systems, filtration and chlorination systems and sanitary and storm drainage systems.

Job Duties:

• Repair and maintain a variety of Park facilities including irrigations systems, sinks, storm drains, underground, water lines, piping, quick couplers, valves, compressed air lines, sanitary sewer, natural gas lines, bathroom fixtures, restaurant fixtures, misters, pumps, etc.
• Make daily rounds of all restroom facilities. Make needed repairs to toilets and sinks. Unclog toilets as needed.
• Perform general maintenance on pumps and motors.
• Work assignments will include ditch digging, trouble shooting, shop and area clean up, driving company vehicles and equipment, special work for promotional events.
• Install new fixtures and fabricate items as necessary. Cut and prepare pipe for new usages.
• Cross trained in minimal diagnostic coverage of kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience repairing and maintaining plumbing systems
• Water park equipment experience a plus
• CPO certification a plus
• State Plumbing license a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• The ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the primary job duties, including climbing and working at heights up to and in excess of 150ft., crawling and working in confined spaces and lifting up to 100 lbs. As a non-transport provider, the EMT-B's primary tasks are to initiate emergency and non-emergency basic life support care to ill and injured guests and team members, assist ALS personnel, and respond to medical/trauma calls in an amusement park setting. All EMT-Bs need to have a strong work ethic and must be able to operate within I.D.P.H. Region X's EMT-B scope of practice.

• Provide emergency and non-emergency medical care to team members and guests in accordance with established I.D.P.H. Region X protocols.
• Triage patients when multiple calls or patients overwhelm available personnel; make appropriate determinations about dispositions and transports
• Use an electronic tablet for documenting reports
• Complete checks on bags, vehicles, and treatment areas before, during, and after each shift; restock supplies as necessary.
