AdventHealth Medical Group in Kansas City is offering a Program Director opportunity for a dynamic, experienced cardiovascular surgeon to lead our team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, a 500+ bed facility. AdventHealth in Kansas City is a leading, faith-based, not-for-profit health system with four hospitals in the greater Kansas City area.
The new surgeon will be able to continue to build and develop our CV surgery program and perform a variety of cases including coronary bypass, valvular repair/replacement, and structural heart procedures. Experience or interest in general thoracic surgery is preferred but not required. The new Program Director would have a portion of dedicated administrative time for service line building including responsibilities in quality, outreach, research and education. The new leader would also work alongside a multidisciplinary and growing team of general cardiologists, interventionalists, and electrophysiologists that will total 20 in the next two years. The team has a large complement of cardiovascular APPs, including a CTS PA model facilitating cardiovascular care. ICU care is also enhanced by our dedicated critical care intensivists team.

The Stowers Institute has an opening for a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and keep mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operational at all times. This position is four 10 hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responding to service calls for issues regarding temperature, lighting, etc.
- General mechanical repairs such as greasing motors
- Replacing air handler filters, belts, and pumps
- Electrical repairs which could include replacing lamps and ballasts, defective switches and outlets
- Repairing plumbing including leaks and clearing of drain lines and toilets
- Maintaining and/or repairing boilers, chillers and other a/c equipment, testing water treatment levels and adding appropriate chemicals, or blowing down and testing safety valves on boilers

We are seeking a Functional Family Therapist to join our team.
Starting Salary: $50,000 - $57,000 (Salary)
Bonus: $2,500 ($1,250 Sign-on bonus will be paid on your first paycheck and the $1,250 Retention bonus will be paid after 12 months of service.)
Join a service oriented, close-knit team providing Functional Family Therapy (FFT), a nationally recognized, evidence-based intervention to children and families in the KCMO area. The successful candidate for this position will receive training and certification in FFT, along with excellent clinical support.
The successful candidate for this position will work well independently, as the position is very autonomous with much flexibility in scheduling sessions. Caseloads are very manageable, as the FFT model supports caseloads of 10-14 families at a time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Engages clients and families in a manner that demonstrates immediate responsiveness to family needs and maintains a strength-based relational focus. Persistent outreach efforts may be required.
- Utilizes the CSS system to document services and to plan treatment according to the FFT model.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Work in collaboration with the Project Director, Project Supervisor, Data Manager, Evaluation Team, and Financial Manager to oversee implementation of the FORGE Fatherhood Grant.
- Maintain substantial knowledge and experience in serving families through community collaboration efforts to successfully implement Kansas FORGE Fatherhood.
- Act as the primary liaison for current and prospective community partners, fostering strong, sustainable collaborative relationships.
- Lead program recruitment efforts in collaboration with established community partners and identify new community stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment process aligned with partners' existing procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of management experience and the following:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or other human service-related field.
- Master's degree in social work or other human service-related field and 2-5 years of work experience in child and family services. Licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board to practice in Kansas (LBSW, LMSW, LSCSW, Professional Counselor, LMFT, and/or Alcohol and Drug Counselor) preferred.
- A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
