Gravis Law is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our growing and dynamic team in the Reno area. Our firm provides a collaborative environment where motivated attorneys can thrive with autonomy and strong support.
Weβre looking for candidates who are self-directed and eager to grow their practice. Attorneys in this role receive approximately 80% of their work through Gravisβ robust marketing and lead generation. Successful attorneys in this role generate approximately 20% of their billable work through an established client base and independent referral network. We eagerly provide the support and tools to help you enhance your services for these clients while offering robust marketing and lead generation to supplement your practice. Attorneys who excel are engaged in business development and prioritize attending two business development or networking events per quarter while taking advantage of the firmβs resources and support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mediation experience is highly preferred.
- Trial experience preferred but not required.
- Researching and analyzing the law on complex legal issues.
- Writing memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents.
- Marketing your and the firmβs services to prospective clients.
- Performing discovery of various electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation.
- Performing due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions
- Communicating and advising clients.
- Managing a schedule to allow for consults and closure of consults to sufficient reach production/collection objectives.
- Closing consults within Gravis range of 30-50% depending on practice area.
- Ensure support staff are fully utilized and productive.
- Actively engage in brand (personal and firm) expansion through blogs social media posts, board, and organization participation, etc.
- Actively seek positive comments from successful client engagements and positive star reviews.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*:
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent legal research skills.
- Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
- Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice.
- 3+ years of experience as an attorney.
*Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.
ATTORNEY EMPLOYEE BENEFITS, COMPENSATION & BONUS PROGRAM:

Wage: Potential base compensation is $125,000-$160,000 per year DOE
Bonus Program: The Attorney is expected to meet all Quarterly Collection Requirements. Additional information about the Quarterly Collection Requirement and the Attorney Bonus Program will be provided to the Attorney for review and signature.

The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.

You will receive 50% of the signing bonus with your first pay check and the other 50% on your 12 month full-time work anniversary. Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:

Β· Reviewing and summarizing of medical records and deposition transcripts

Β· Drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Β· Communicate with fact and expert witnesses in the development of the case and in preparation for trial
Β· Trial preparation including trial exhibits, charts, trial notebook, voir dire, jury instructions, verdict forms, trial subpoenas, etc.

Qualifications:
