Certified Medical Assistant
SUMMARY: The Certified Medical Assistant at BoldAge PACE supports the interdisciplinary team by providing clinical and administrative assistance to ensure high-quality care for participants. Responsibilities include preparing participants for exams, assisting with procedures, managing medical records, and performing routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and administering medications under supervision. The Medical Assistant also coordinates with staff to ensure smooth clinic operations, maintains a safe environment, and fosters positive interactions with participants and their families, reflecting the organization's commitment to excellence and People First care.
ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare participants for medical exams and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of care plans.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rates, as directed by healthcare providers.
- Assist providers and nurses with medical procedures and treatments, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
- Administer medications and vaccines as authorized and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic lab tests, and coordinate with external labs as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely participant medical records in both electronic and physical formats.
- Provide health education and instructions to participants and their families, promoting self-care and understanding of treatment plans.
- Assist participants in transportation and mobility during clinic visits as needed.
- Monitor participant conditions and report changes to the interdisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and team members, fostering a People First approach.
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations in handling participant information.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and organized clinic environment.
- Maintains strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and protects participant information.
- Works effectively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
- Ensures a safe clinical environment by following proper infection control and equipment sterilization procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and participant care.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred. If this is not present, training will be provided upon hiring (If applicable for the role).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and medical documentation.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- All Employees - Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
- Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Running site with safety and efficiency as priorities Daily communications with associates on service levels, accountability, pay, and performance.
Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to corporate Audit of daily labor and billing reports Ensure customer needs are met on a daily basis.
Document and resolve any customer service or associate issues daily.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be very flexible with shift start times as well as days worked, including weekends and holidays.
3 years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting.
Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Excellent aptitude in estimating rates and adding and subtracting mentally while constantly multi-tasking.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain or Third-Party experience preferred.
BS/BA Degree or Associate Degree with Equivalent Experience is a plus but no required Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
Proven track record in supervision of warehouse employees including Hiring, Training, and Termination.
Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stand for long period of times.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as needed.

This role is responsible for performing tasks related to systems maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of Building Automation Systems.
Responsibilities: Start up and commission control systems for new or retrofit projects.
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair control components and systems.
Update software, troubleshoot complex systems, and create programming software.
Communicate with customers, train them, and recommend system improvements.
Coordinate with managers, provide technical recommendations for sales, and submit documentation promptly.
Maintain technical proficiency through self-study and certifications.
Requirements: 2+ years of Building Automation or commercial HVAC control experience 2-year technical degree is desired or Associate's degree in relevant fields is desired Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or other Valid, clean driver's license.
