What You Will Do
- Demonstrate increasing levels of Electrical and Mechanical capabilities resulting in excellence in Safety, Quality assurance and Asset Care, to Identify and eliminate potential failures to help maximize asset performance
- Facilitate and assist in root Cause Analysis of premature failures, offering solutions and implementing corrective actions preventing reoccurrence
- Utilize work processes and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to manage work tasks, document findings and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure proper operation of electrical control system components
- Mentor and share knowledge with other shift technicians
- Work a rotating 12-hour shift to include weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience in Commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or military environment
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, including power transmission, hydraulic or pneumatic systems
- Experience working on electrical systems
- Experience using general equipment documentation to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Experience using computers and associated software
What Will Put You Ahead
- Associates or technical degree or higher in an electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing discipline
- Experience in condition-based monitoring (i.e., vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasound)
- Experience with control system platforms such as continuous distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Experience with industrial instrumentation, such as temperature, pressure, level and flow transmitters and actuators
- Experience with Motor Control Centers (MCCs) and related 3-phase electrical equipment
- Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC troubleshooting
- Experience with Microsoft Office, maintenance management or production software
For this role, we anticipate paying $34.43 - $39.88 per hour This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

2:45 PM to 11:15 PM | 56-72 hours per pay period | Every-other weekend
This part-time Category D LPN position is scheduled between 56–72 hours per pay period, usually closer to 72, with a base pay of $29.33–$42.53/hr. Evening shifts include a $3/hr differential, and weekend shifts add $3.25/hr, increasing total earning potential.

You will provide direct resident care under RN supervision in accordance with the NYS Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The unit cares for 34 adult and geriatric residents, blending short-stay rehab (average 1–6 weeks) and long-term care. Residents may require post-op recovery, sepsis care, wound management (including wound vacs), and antibiotic therapy.
Evening shifts are steady yet active, supported by vascular services, respiratory therapy, and rapid response, with the unit located two floors from the ED. Staffing is maintained at or above national safe-staffing standards.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current NY LPN license, strong teamwork and communication skills, completion of pre-placement screening, and competency to meet age-specific resident needs. Experience preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
An LPN/Operating Room Technician (LPN/ORT) is a member of the surgical team who acts as a primary scrub person and must be technically adept by handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary before, during and after the surgical procedure. LPN/ORTs are required to perform all cases that surgeons perform. He/She may also circulate under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN/ORT must be able to take call as scheduled, anticipate the needs of the surgeon, have excellent adaptation and coping skills, have excellent organizational skills and be a team player. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift patient and equipment with assistance of other personnel or without as need dictates. LPN/ORT must have excellent communication skills and maintains asepsis at all times. Must be able to serve as a resource person for certain specialties. Will assist directly with the orientation, training and serve as a mentor for new LPN/ORTs. Must be able to work closely with RNs in room and management about instrumentation and equipment for cases. Also will assist in education of all LPN/ORTs. LPN/ORTs will work primarily at CVPH main campus with assignments to Ambulatory Surgery Center. The LPN/ORT can assist the Pre-op and Post-op areas by performing various duties under direction of unit director/manager or registered nurse. The LPN/ORT can assist in treatment and care of patients, collect blood and other patient samples, perform ECGs and assist in receptionist/clerical activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Currently Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
3. Meets requirements of pre-employment screening and physical.
4. Excellent attendance record required.
5. Process basic windows knowledge.
6. Must be able to take call as scheduled.
7. Must be self-motivated and technically adept.
8. Able to handle a high stress level.
9. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
10. BLS Certified preferred or obtain within six months.
11. Knowledge of technical OR equipment and/or Anatomy & Physiology.
