As a Thoracic Surgeon on the U.S. Army health care team, you’ll be at the forefront of medical innovation in thoracic trauma, oncology and respiratory medicine. Requirements:

· Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates

· Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico

· Eligibility for board certification

· Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship

· Completion of a training program in thoracic surgery

· Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers granted on a case-by-case basis)

· U.S. citizenship

INPATIENT ADULT PSYCHIATRY

Phoenix, Arizona, Metro Area

District Medical Group, Inc., (DMG), a large multi-specialty faculty practice group is seeking an inpatient Attending Psychiatrist for our adult inpatient program at Valleywise Behavioral Health Center, Arizona. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients. Caseload is 9-10 patients, with an average length of stay of 22 days; most patients are involuntary. This position includes faculty appointment (for eligible candidates) to the Creighton School of Medicine in Phoenix and the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and involvement in resident and medical student education.

This is a full-time position with all benefits, including four weeks of paid time off, 10 paid holidays, one week of CME (with an annual CME allowance of $4,000), retirement plan and employer paid malpractice coverage. 

Candidates must be Board certified or in the process of Board certification and must possess an Arizona medical license prior to beginning employment.
