The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) is seeking a MD/DO physician candidate to provide direct patient care in the Division of Emergency Medicine (EM). The physician candidate will be board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The candidate will receive an academic faculty appointment commensurate with achievement and will participate in the educational, patient care, research and other academic activities of the Department of Pediatrics. In addition to clinical and teaching responsibilities, there may be opportunities to participate in research in areas of interest with other faculty members. The physician will join 10 full time faculty members who provide 24/7 in-house EM coverage. The candidate may also have the opportunity to participate in either clinical or lab-based research. The clinical services of the Division of Emergency Medicine are conducted at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) in New Brunswick, NJ, contiguous with the Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH). The Pediatric Emergency Department is a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center. BMSCH is a 105-bed acute care hospital located on the only pediatric academic health campus in the state of New Jersey. The Department of Pediatrics has a full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists. Outpatient services are provided at the Child Health Institute of New Jersey which also houses our research faculty. The Department of Pediatrics includes physicians and basic scientists who conduct collaborative research with an emphasis on mechanisms of disease, novel therapies, epidemiology and/or outcomes research in the areas of relevance to childhood diseases. The Mount Sinai Selikoff Centers for Occupational Health are seeking a Full-Time Occupational, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine Physician to join their dynamic and collaborative medical team in Staten Island and Suffern!
The Selikoff Centers are the clinical core of the Department of Environmental Medicine’s Division of Occupational Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The Division is committed to preventing and treating work-related injuries and illnesses. The Selikoff Centers render approximately 30,000 clinical visits annually at locations in Manhattan, Staten Island, Suffern and Yonkers.
The Selikoff Centers are part of the New York State Department of Health’s Occupational Health Clinic Network and designated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health as World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) Clinical Centers of Excellence.
The physician is expected to provide direct patient care in the clinical office setting in the Mount Sinai Selikoff Centers for Occupational Health, under the direction of the Medical Director.
Responsibilities
Physician will:
Provide evidence-based clinical evaluation and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses
Provide outpatient care, monitoring and treatment of World Trade Center-disaster related illness
Perform medical screenings for groups with exposures to hazards, such as asbestos, lead, and other toxic substances
Perform disabilities evaluations and depositions, when applicable
Supervise ancillary providers
The position will require the knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based clinical evaluation and treatment for occupational injuries and illnesses, in particular for World Trade Center-related illnesses. This will entail the evaluation of whether or not patients’ conditions are substantially related to the exposure they experienced at the WTC disaster site and certification of exposure-disease relationships to federal agencies overseeing the WTC Health Program.
The physician will evaluate patients for occupationally-related disorders as a workers’ compensation credentialed provider.
The incumbent must have the knowledge and skills to determine fitness for duty, perform disability assessments and consultations on occupational illness.
Qualifications
Medical Degree from an accredited program

BE/BC in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Pulmonary Medicine.
Preventive Medicine candidates with 3 or more years of recent direct patient care experience will also be considered.

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Trinitas Regional Medical Center. The Department is responsible for all anatomic and clinical laboratory services at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, a 554- bed Level II trauma center that provides comprehensive health care for the region. The successful candidate will be the leader of the pathology laboratory at Trinitas, responsible for oversight of all aspects of the laboratory operation. This individual will provide leadership for staff, will plan, organize and direct the activities of the Laboratory with the assistance of managers, supervisors and senior technologists and will serve as a subject matter expert and consultant, closely collaborating with physicians and other health care providers. The Director will have responsibility for providing clinical direction to the Trinitas laboratory, including laboratory oversight, test validation and maintenance of College of American Pathologists accreditation of the laboratory; experience in a CAP accredited laboratory is desirable. As a member of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology team, consulting with clinical staff and participating in tumor boards is expected. This is a general pathology service within a community hospital, although subspecialty expertise in cytopathology is desirable.
Requirements:
