About Baptist Medical Center Clay

Baptist Medical Center Clay is located on 32 acres at U.S. 17 and Village Square Parkway on Fleming Island. The facility opened in May 2013 to bring the high-quality care of Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Baptist Health to residents of Clay County. The Baptist/Wolfson Children’s Emergency Center, which is open 24 hours a day, has 16 treatment rooms, a separate waiting room for children, child-specific medical equipment and imaging capabilities, a LifeFlight helipad and an on-site ambulance. • Diagnose and treat conditions related to the skin, hair, and nails
• Perform medical and surgical dermatology procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, laser treatments)
• Provide cosmetic dermatology services as applicable (e.g., Botox, fillers, chemical peels, laser resurfacing)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Educate patients on skin health, preventive care, and treatment options

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in dermatology through continuing education and professional development

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program
