Offering services including dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, IV sedation, bone grafting, and comprehensive OMS procedures, the practice operates in a modern, state-of-the-art facility equipped to support full-scope oral surgery. 

Position Overview

We are seeking a  full-time Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our high-volume practice. This position offers an outstanding opportunity for a surgeon looking for consistent patient flow, clinical autonomy, and strong operational support.

This role may be structured as either:

  • W2 Employee , or

  • 1099 Independent Contractor

Schedule

  • 4 clinical days per week

  • Some Mondays as needed

  • Standard days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday — 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Closed Wednesdays

  • No weekends

Compensation & Benefits

  • $20,000 sign-on bonus

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including:

  • Conduct comprehensive consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up

  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation

  • Work collaboratively with the practice’s experienced clinical and administrative teams

Qualifications

  • DMD/DDS from an accredited institution

  • Completion of a CODA-accredited OMS residency

  • Board-certified

  • Active Massachusetts dental license (or ability to obtain)

  • Our foot and ankle service, including two foot and ankle surgeons and three podiatrists, performs over 1,100 cases annually at our UMass facilities and a new free-standing ambulatory surgery center.
  • Candidates must be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery and eligible for licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Overall, the applicant will be expected to be a team player committed to helping grow the service over the long term.
  • Opportunities exist for clinical and basic science investigation and research. An academic appointment commensurate with education and training is offered. Responsibilities will include clinical care, student and resident education, and administrative and committee work related to medical school and medical center affiliations.

The Department of Neurological Surgery at UMass Chan Medical School and UMass Memorial Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible neurosurgeon with fellowship training in complex spine surgery to join a dynamic academic practice.

The UMass Department of Neurological Surgery is experiencing significant growth, and we are looking for a neurosurgeon with expertise in both cranial complex spine procedures to help us expand a dynamic neurosurgery practice that includes the UMass Center for Spine Health and spans the two largest hospitals in Worcester. Pay Range: $69,100 - $103,800 annual total cash target pay

Annual total cash compensation for this role assumes full time employment and generally follows the range above, includes earnings from hourly pay (25/hr) and incentive pay and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
