• Technicians with audio, lighting, networking and show control backgrounds.
• Audio Engineers with troubleshooting skills, understanding of signal flow in live mixing; knowledge of QLab playback and show control as well as digital sound consoles such as Mackie and Allen+Heath are a plus.
• Master Electricians to oversee and maintain designated show rigs and control systems. Must be capable of troubleshooting equipment and software problems at a moment's notice. Knowledge of conventional and moving lighting fixtures, DMX addressing and ETC Consoles are a must. Knowledge of Video Walls, Pixel/LED tape and Power Distro Racks are a plus. 
• Operate a variety of equipment, as assigned, such as golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, construction equipment, and motor vehicles.

This position focuses mainly on providing a safe environment for guests and associates by routinely conducting building/ground inspections to assure regulatory compliance; responds to fires and other emergencies as needed; and investigates first aid incident reports as necessary.

• Conducts investigations on necessary first aid incidents as requested by Park Management and the First Aid Supervisor.
• Performs routine fire and safety inspections. Types of inspections include but are not limited to: Fire Extinguisher, Fire
• Prevention - Building Safety, Spill Continguency and Countermeasures (SPCC), Hazardous Waste and Bulk Storage,
• Personal protective equipment, etc.
• Performs follow-up inspections for corrective action and reports continued safety issues to the responsible department and Safety Operations / Area Manager.
• Responds to and assists with park emergencies, patient care, safety investigations, scene management, and to help provide guest and or associate assistance as necessary.
• Partners with departments to assist with creating solutions to safety concerns
• Assists with the regular maintenance of emergency equipment
• Assists First Aid staff as needed.
• Responds, operates and maintains emergency response vehicles and associated equipment.
• Conducts or assists with safety training classes when needed. Examples of classes include but are not limited to:

At Carowinds, work is FUN! As an essential part of our Ride Operations team, you will ensure each ride operates safely and efficiently. Ride Operators work at a fast pace while maintaining strong attention to detail and utilizing essential communication skills.  You’ll also: 

• Test equipment daily before opening the ride to guests.  

• Enforce park policies, ride restrictions and ride recommendations.  

• Restrict the number of guests on the loading platform to the number who can be seated on the ride.  

• Ensure safe operation of the ride. Makes certain that queue lines are safe and orderly.  

• Assist with the loading and unloading of the ride to include small children and guests with disabilities.  

• Verify that safety restraints and belts are correctly secured before the ride is set into motion.  

• Take appropriate action to answer or resolve guest questions and complaints.  

• Measure children at height stations and issues appropriate wristbands.  

• Record hourly ride capacity and cycles.  

• Give directions and deliver ride spiels using a microphone.

Singers must provide their own music track showcasing an upbeat pop song and a musical theatre song. Actors will be reading from a selection of sides provided upon check in. 

Costume Characters must be no taller than 5'3" 

Virtual Submissions & Special Skill Submissions (such as stilt walking, jumping stilts, cirque skills, etc.) may be submitted virtually no later than February 14th to   to be considered for Spring/Summer casting. 

Singers & Singer/Dancers: When picking your audition piece, please keep in mind that our shows include high energy pop, rock, and even country music. Please prepare 2 contrasting vocal selections showing versatile styles- your best 16-32 bars of each. Aux cord will be provided for In Person Auditions. You MAY NOT sing a cappella. FOR IN PERSON AUDITIONS, please dress appropriately in case you are asked to do a movement combination. 

Dancers: Our shows mix traditional musical theatre and jazz with hip hop and even dance team styles of choreography. Are you a tumbler? Are you a classically trained ballerina? Are you an aspiring Rockette? We want to see all of that! Come prepared to learn a high-energy dance combination. Please plan to dress professionally, in a way that allows for movement. Please also bring at least 2 types of shoes. 

Improvisational & Character Actors + Show Hosts: Be over the top and confident! You will be provided with audition sides to read from upon check in. We do not expect you to memorize this, but we do want to see you try new things and make BOLD choices when reading for us. You may also be asked to improvise during the audition. Please be sure to include any improvisation experience on your resume.

The Supervisor of Ride Operations is responsible for ensuring that the Ride Operations Department maintains a professional atmosphere and ensures the standards of safety and guest service are being upheld by direct and indirect reports. Makes regular field visits to monitor employee performance and policy compliance and resolving various operational issues.

• Ensures the safety of our guests and employees by ensuring that all employees are operating according to the policies and procedures outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual; directs employee actions during emergency
  situations and resolves operational concerns.
• Supervises daily work performance of Ride Operators; provides coaching and counseling regarding performance and disciplinary situations; provides credible input into discipline, promotion, demotion and termination
  decisions; prepares and conducts job performance evaluations for direct and indirect reports.
• Ensures guest satisfaction by responding and resolving guest concerns quickly, coordinating other departments' actions that can impact Ride Operations, and making decisions that resolve issues that arise in the daily operation.
