Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate ? Palliative Care
MaineHealth Pen Bay and Waldo Hospitals located in Coastal Maine are currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Regional Palliative Care team. This position is a full-time position caring for patients in the outpatient Palliative Care office as well as seeing patients in the inpatient setting at both Pen Bay and Waldo Hospitals. Work within a collaborative team caring for the patients of the coastal Maine community.
We are looking for an APP who wants to provide the best possible quality of life for patients and their families living with a serious or life-threatening illness.
The Position Offers:

Qualifications & Experience:

- 2 years? experience as an NP/PA is preferred.

This Physician Assistant will be part of a patient centered medical home model that believes in quality of care over #s of patient seen. They provide integrated behavioral health, care managers, and patient assistance coordinators.
The providers treat a rural underserved population treating all ages from Newborn to Geriatrics. The PA will treat acute and chronic health issues, school and sports physicals, women's health, new baby physicals and small office procedures.
