MaineGeneral ENT is excited to announce an opportunity for a Physician Assistant to join our growing ENT (Otolaryngology) department. We provide comprehensive ear, nose, and throat services, and you will be joining a collaborative team of 3 otolaryngologists and 1 PA.
Position Overview:
As a Physician Assistant at MaineGeneral ENT, you will work under the supervision of a physician to deliver high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing outpatient care to patients with a variety of ENT conditions.
- Assisting otolaryngologists during surgeries and in the operating room (OR).
- Conducting inpatient rounding to ensure patients receive consistent, quality care.
While ENT experience is appreciated, we also welcome applications from newly qualified PA's. Our department is dedicated to your professional growth and will provide on-the-job training to ensure you are fully prepared to thrive in this role.

MaineHealth Primary Care-Farmington, a part of MaineHealth Franklin Hospital, is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Associate/Physician Assistant (PA) to join our exceptional team of providers in our Primary Care practice in Farmington, Maine. The NP/PA will be responsible for providing primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients. MaineHealth Neurosurgery and Spine is recruiting for a Physican Associate/Physician Assistant (PA) with the ability to see both adult and pediatric patient populations to practice at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. This is an opportunity to join our well-respected team in the Neurosurgery group supporting 12 Surgeons and working alongside 15 Advance Practice Providers (APPs) providing surgical, emergency, and in-patient care and services including ER consultations, hospital admissions, first assisting on Neurosurgical cases, and medical management of in-patients with daily rounds.
Primary inpatient responsibilities are at Maine Medical Center, the state's leading tertiary care hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. Maine Medical Center has 637 licensed beds, a full complement of residencies and fellowships, and is an integral part of Tufts University Medical School.
These are 12 hours mostly day shifts averaging 32 hours per week (with the possibility of 40 hours). This includes one weekend shift per month and approximately 6-night shifts per year.
